Inflation is directly related to gov spending and since Trump won't be spending like Biden and he will bring energy costs down so Powell will have a hard time justifying not bringing interest rates down. Once they come down real estate will explode and people will finally start to buy again and then the prices will go up.

Trump has already accomplished more in a week than that shambling husk of a corrupt coward accomplished in the 60% of his time in office not spent on vacation. Withdrawing from the WHO and protecting Americans from CBDCs will be looked back on as historic steps to save our country. If he really does get rid of income tax, the National Park Service will start work on his addition to Mount Rushmore the next day.

@@HulaShack1 Yep... used interchangably since the 1700s. Both words meant the power to govern was held by the people rather than a monarch. Because democracy is an abstract name for a system and republic is a more concrete result of that system, democracy is more frequently used when the emphasis is on the system itself, which it is here.

That's correct... but some people have higher itemized deductions. And the standard deduction is going down unless Trump gets it back into place. I think lowered to $6000... so.... if your mortgage interest is higher... better to itemize instead of taking the standard deduction. Always talk to your tax professional as everyone's taxes are unique to them.
