John was the most talented singer. His performances at Cowie Bowling Club in the 80's and 90's were legendary. Will never forget them, amazing talent xx

You should be so proud. Your papa had such an amazing talent. He should have been a global star. We were mesmerised by his fabulous voice in Cowie bowling club many years ago. Bus loads arrived from all over the area xx

Hi fellas, hope he’s still keeping well. I’ve a cracking picture of John Doc, my Grandad and Celtic icon Jimmy Johnstone. There’s a few other faces that may be known to you, if you’d like to see it, just let me know and I’ll upload it. Does he still like to sing a few numbers?

@@Dean67 My papa ( John) stopped performing a couple of years ago. He's keeping well and still enjoys his long walks with the dogs. I would love to see the photo you have. It would be really appreciated! Thanks Jamie

Just wanted to thank you for these uploads mate. My grandad went to see John Doc countless times and became his friend, but I was never able to put a voice to this infamous name I'd heard so much about!
