Every single person should learn how to hand wash their clothing . Always separate the colored clothing and the whites as well as bulky items like towels. I use two 5 gallon buckets one of them have small holes to drain my clothes and a new toilet plunger that also have small holes to mix my clothing and help clean them. I love drying my clothes outside I even do this in the winter time as long as it does not rain or snow. I absolutely do not use too much laundry detergent or a bar of soap. Too much soap is not good for your clothing and takes to much time to rinse the soap out of it. As long as you have plenty of clean water. And as long as you have sunshine. And as long as you have a place outside to hang your clothing. Your clothes will always be clean. It is hard work but someone has to do it.
