yes and no. It depends on how you want to power loop and where you are doing it. Higher camera angle lets you cheat / look at object more before you start to go over or clear it. I sometimes stay in to throttle to help me clear object. Staying in the throttle slightly above hover point removes the "floaty" look. But you have to compensate by getting you pitch control correct. Driving the power loop vs throwing a power loop.
