Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, but how did you manage to get the edges of the board when laying the fiberglass? Because when I lay the fiberglass I can't get it to go along the edges of the board, so there's a gap between the wood and the fiberglass with air in between.

Nice build! I'd love to see it in action! What is your fuselage made out of? Is it aluminum? I don't think commercial foils have hollow fuselages, I'm really interested in knowing how yours performs! Cheers from France! 🇫🇷 🤙

Nice! civilized grass boarding. My brother talked me into grass boarding behind his atv, he pops the clutch and sent me sliding thru the wet grass. had my brand new Whi'te Jeans on. Came close, but missed sliding 'em right thru a mud puddle

I use a different technique. I use 1.5mm thick CP , cut the wing with a template and fold. Fold lines is 60 to 90 degrees from the flute lines. In this way I can built ,barn shape, full delta or partial delta wing shape. The bending lines should be 90 degree against the flute. You need to score the bending lines with the blunt ends of a steel rule...the same technique use by Mugi builder

@@outtheback6550 Interesting. Did you use it with a kite? Or did you get pulled by a boat? How well did it work? I'm building a wooden foil myself to go windsurfing with. No offense but i've never seen a foil of such poor building quality as yours. That might seem like an insult, but actually i think you've done something really interesting and usefull here. It can encourage a lot of people to build foils themselves if yours actually worked. I'm taking a lot of care to get the exact profile right and it might not even be necessary.... Anyways, cool video, but really missing the performance on the water.

Great vid, simple under camber wings are by far the most efficient for lift vs drag. Too bad they don't work well on simple delta wing planes. Winter is coming so I'm gonna make a tough waterproof coro zagi-type wing with 2mm. From what I've seen it will still be about 2x the weight of a similar foamy, which is why I will cut swiss cheese holes in the wings like the swiss fish sloper, and cover with packing tape. Easy and tough , Wish me luck!
