I've been building models for a long time now.. Always used thread for the rigging or antennas. I heard about stretching spru but thought it would be hard to get it uniform with having to sand it down.. Watching this, I see it's actually easier than I thought.. Thanks for posting this.. I'm going to try it on my next build..

Are these premade anywhere? I need them for model carnival rides. And I need them to move up and down?

The overlaying music is a distraction from the tutorial making it somewhat difficult to hear what is being said.

I wonder how you guys can do with homemade wash! Like for panel lines?

Yes i have seen where those take Qtips and do the same for Liquid glue for long tubing when to glue in small places. I found out with air can straw! . But i went through Qtip! Im sure you have seen or heard about it.

I always thought that the use of any type of paint except acrylic would eat or deform the plastic on models...what types of paint can I use without damage...thank you in advance

With the rise of 3D printers, I think it would be so simple to crank out these smaller scale cylinders. Great video

It's Five AM, I just dozed off, auto-play was turned on, and your voice came blaring out of my headphones. That was startling...but good video.

It's a good tutorial, but the obvious thing you're missing is a cutting mat. It would make that styrene a lot easier to cut than it is on a plastic desktop.

The best colors to use for NATO... German grey, cockpit green, and NATO brown with buff added. They are lighter but fit better colorwise. It's got that nice faded look. After washes and weathering it darkens and looks great. Funny thing is, the decals for this afv 2.5 ton truck, is my unit when I was stationed in Germany. 2-15inf, 3rd ID, Schweinfurt, Ledward Kaserne, early 90s. They did get the decals wrong, but easy to fix. Good job though on this.

better to do brown first, then black... this is how we do it on real vehicles! by this, the spray dust of the lighter brown will not show up on the darker black.

I only seen the S.E E. tractor before, It was in my MOS school say back when. It was phased out before I even joined and they had one there for educational purposes. Apparently, it was a piece of garbage since multiple manufacturers designed the thing.

Wow. I think I have always been ahead of this... started off with paper and Elmers. If you can do that, then you have more than enough skill when you get to styrene.

I just found this by coincidence.. I'm REALLY late to the party! Is this the same Mother from Armorama? I never knew you had video tutorials.. I remember when I tried once to have a group tutorial on Armorama, but for some reason not enough people were into it... So, I'm really glad I found this! Very informative.
