@@noahthetrainguy Well, I Can’t Have 2100 Doublehead With 425 Because 2100 Runs On DC Power And 425 Runs On DCC Power And I Haven’t Planned On Having 2100 Run Any Christmas Trains This Year, However, I’m Planning On Having 425 Run 3 Santa Trains And Southern Pacific 4449 For The Holiday Express Trains. 425 Will Do The Santa Trains On December 1st, 21st, & 22nd. 4449 Will Do The Holiday Express Trains On December 7th & 8th, 14th, & 15th. Finally 425 Will Run Her 97th Birthday Excursion On January 12, 2025.

The daylight has been my favorite steam engine for my whole life. It’s sad that it’s just sitting there in a workshop with nothing to do, but it looks like they take good care of it. How’s the museum and the care they take of the engines?

@@trainhuntersfamily8625 So Far The Work On The Engines Seemed To Be Going Pretty Smoothly, As Their About To Complete SP&S 700 From Her FRA 15 Year Rebuild And From What I Heard Is Their Working On The Water Pump For 700 And That Would Be The Last Step To Do Before 700 Can Be Back On The Rails. I Also Found Out That OR&N 197 Is Being Actively Worked On As I Found Out That They Began Removing Her Driving Wheels For An Inspection, Hopefully They Can Get 197 Back In Action In The Future.

While I love the whistle 4449 has on her now due to the work they did on it between 2012 and 2015, this whistle is a very close second and it would be great if they could find one like it to put back on her someday, even just for a special occasion.
