Hi! When rolling the clay into the texture sheet, the roller must also be pressed with force. The clay can stick to the roller, making the clay stand out from the texture. Therefore, it is advisable to use a wet or dry cloth (or paper). But, for example, some people use a thin, wet sponge. Feel free to try any option and then choose the one that suits you best. I think the gasoline available at the pharmacy would dissolve the glue. I usually use "tesa film basic" tape (19 mm wide), it doesn't leave a sticky mark.
