Good news that Nicholls is now going to do what he should have done with Regent's Stroll in the first place, run him again over two miles. Hopefully, the obsession with the Challow hasn't wrecked the horse. If not, he could still be very good at two miles. There is still no outstanding novice at that distance this season. Potters Charm is a stayer, and he was able to beat our best on a quick track. There are doubts about both Salvator Mundi and Romeo Coolio. Workahead has just just won a maiden hurdle, and he is around 10/1. Plenty to play for.

William Hill are 6/4 NRNB Fact To File for the Ryanair. Isn't that quite a big clue as to where he should be going in March? He is trained by someone who has a history of going for the easier targets so what's the difference here? You would expect Fact To File to be beaten even further in a Gold Cup. He won a poor Brown Advisory last season when clearly the Turners was the correct race for him. It makes far more sense to go for the shorter race this season, and perhaps the Gold Cup next year, rather than the other way around. Inothewayurthinkin improved on his John Durkan run, and no surprise if he improves again in the Spring. The stiffer Cheltenham test will be a plus for him, and he is a big each-way price. Just needs to cut out the odd mistake.

First time over fences. Once he got the measure of them, his jumping was ridiculous. Up there with Sprinter Sacre at his best and he is only a four year old! He was actually more economical through the air than Sprinter Sacre and just as fast landing. This horse could be anything. It's actually frightening to think he'll come on for the run.

Honestly with the weight allowance this horse could win the Champion Chase at Cheltenham if entered. A 166 chasing debut is phenomenal.

Constitution Hill , Sir Gino , and Jonbon , champion hurdle champion chase and arkle in the Bag , Ballyburn will win the Brown Advisory, Lossiemouth will win the Mares Hurdle if Brighterdaysahead doesn’t go for it, and the greatest horse in training, Gallopin des Champs will win the GOLD CUP.

I’m not sure how good the opposition actually was, but that was seriously impressive & looks a very good horse.

I would skip Cheltenham and go for the Aintree Hurdle at Liverpool. Challow winners have a shocking record at Cheltenham + the flat track at Aintree will suit.

So , wouldn't that mean that he and his staff do not have to concentrate on 2 mile races exclusively considering his fantastic range ? Let's hope he's the next Kauto Star ...class to win at 2 miles ...2.4 miles ...3 miles ...and the Gold Cup distance of 3.2 miles . That should not be too difficult to achieve , I believe . Racing needs superstars....this guy is one , but train him to be one of the greats by dominating all of the top races at different trips . That would be enormous scope ..would it not ?

Yeah when i saw this horse win at chepstow on the 29th october i put down never came off the bridle won in a hat canter , then they took him to newbury aga stiffer oposition was more workmanlike on that ocasion, but today he took off in areoplane mode,👍🛫
