No one cares about you, it's your life, live for yourself.

As if youtube knew I needed it, this popped up in my feed. Things have been pretty rough lately. Education is my main concern, and it wasn't going smoothly. I failed a lot, lost scholarships, etc. Parents pressure me because of it, on the other hand. I know that life has thrown bigger rocks in the way of other people, but for me, an 18 year old who just learns to make his life choices, this seems overwhelming. Just a year ago, my life was careless enough. Everything went either too fast, or I was just foolish not to stop living on autopilot earlier. Anyway, this video helps. After failing yet another exam today and coming home, I lay in my bed for about 2 hours, feeling apathy and not wanting to do anything else anymore. But here is a thing that this video tells me: if I just keep going, I will remember these old days with a smile in the future, looking at their contrast to worse things that I will inevitably have to through. Somehow, the thought of that future doesn't scare me because of its obvious challenges. It rather reminds me of how fast life is: Things that make us lose our confidence in ourselves today, will be no more than just memories in the future. Writing down thoughts helps me cope with overwhelming feelings. Even if nobody cares. But just in case somebody has read through all I wrote above and wants to share something too, I'm gonna be more than happy to hear out :)

You just described my day today. Really allowed me to emphasize with you and make me feel better. (I want to try writing my thoughts down too now). Hope you can find some people that care for you!

@EuEndo keep strong, man. You know you're gonna come out stronger on the other side of the wave. And I'm glad I could help you feel better. Sometimes, sharing thoughts and knowing that we aren't alone is so refreshing :)
