For future reference, even filming this video at HALF the distance from the unit that you're currently at would have helped immensely. I can barely see any details that I could just be observing myself.

Thanks for emphasizing the need to constantly measure and use a level. I made a small table and just screwed it together thinking it would only be a couple millimetres out of level. And there was a half inch wobble in it. The legs will be completely different lengths if you don't measure as you go.

Thank you! With $2.74 spent and 5 minutes, I was able to fix my toilet that's been slow leaking for 10 years. I've looked it up before, but I never found the same setup until your video.

How sturdy is this? I'm thinking about doing a desk like this but it needs to support 2 large monitors on arms and 2 laptops. 65in x 25 butcher block top.

It's a lot quicker if you just lightly roll the paint on the applicator pad instead of dipping it in the paint pan.

The better way is to paint in a U shape every time you touch the wall. I'm only painting that way for 10 years now and it always done real good job. Try it! Easy and fast! Let me explain: 1. Dip the Shure-line pad just a little down the tray; 2. Rub the edge of the tray to remove excess (this will produce uniformity to the pad); 3. Do not apply paint directly to the border; 4. Instead, apply further from the border; 5. Slide to the curb and slide 4 feet along it. 6. To remove the pad, slide away from the edge. This results in a U shape, where application and removal is done away from the edge. This prevents staining from application/removal. Have a easy and fast outline painting!

I actually use my brush to coat the pad. My Father used to have me use it that way back when I was a young teenager in the 1980's...That way he could trust me not to screw up!! I still do it that way.Just a thought.

I tried this tool recently and I didn’t like it all. I don’t like how it drags across the wall and can still slip and touch the ceiling. I just taped it everything then used the roller as far as it would go in the corner and then did the small edge with a brush.

Except that it'd take so long to fill that big tub that water would cool before you got in. There's a reason tub spouts are about 2 gpm.

Bro, you don't need the edger for corners. You need an edger for EDGES, ex: door trim, molding trims....

Use your brush to load the pad brushing off the edge. Don’t dip it. You need a brush anyway to get the inside corners. Don’t try to go too far with a load or it will apply too thinly. I use the tilted front edge to swipe down the ridge that tends to squeeze out of the back edge especially if rolling the field is lagging behind.

So the obvious line where it doesn’t reach the actual edge of the wall, I’m guessing you went back in and used a brush to fix that.
