Do Sailors (like me) have to do exactly what Marines do at MCT?

Geez. Those first 4 guys you see at the beginning, they're like 6'5 or 6'6...big guys leading the charge.

I'm just surprised nothing breaks under the stress of holding onto something solid as a steel rail at such speeds. I suppose it shouldn't as they would design it to 'fly' as straight as possible without any yaw pitch or roll force and the track is true straight instead of curved to be level with gravity.

Dude was my Drill Instructor in 2016. Take care of recruits my ass. Not including throwing recruits down on the deck and choking them out (I get it, some "hands on" is expected like I did to kids in the fleet, but this shit was way over the line), dude made us empty our canteens before hikes, especially during grass/range week (we weren't given shooters barracks, we walked). Then, he refused to let us get water at any point during the range. We had 7 recruits go down in 2 days before the Company Commander got involved. He got fired from our platoon later that week for making a kid skull drag to and from the pits at the 500yd line during his chow break... Regarding the chow, yeah, he saved this kid I guess. But he was also the guy that would tell us to stack our shit immediately after it hit the table. Everyone knew that if Brown was taking us to chow, we weren't eating (again, expected to have little time, but this was 100% different than any of our other DIs). The kid probably shoved as much in his mouth as he could to chew while he stacked. Was the only way we got a snack during Brown's chow marches, I'd imagine it didn't change. He shouldn't get a NAM for an incident he probably caused Guy was a sack of shit. He gave no fucks about anything except power tripping. I'm not just being sour about boot, the other DIs were hard, but you could feel they cared about making Marines. Not Brown, and everyone hated that piece of shit.

This was the worst part of being the Marines, you finish boot camp and think all the madness over, had some nice time at home, and then nope - you basically go to fourth phase boot camp and it's absolutely awful
