Yeah I don't get it. 2022 and I'm having the issue. I literally cannot see anything in certain areas. But in other areas of the map it's good. It's super weird.

@@saruexe I never had an issue with framerate without DX12 enabled. If you can't play the game because of the enormous bright white light why would it matter? Turn it off and give it a test at least, tell us if it resolves your problem.

@@saruexe For what reason would you decline changing this setting if at current you are unable to play the game at all? Or are you saying that this issue is intermittent for you and the game is still "mostly" playable? For me the game was totally unplayable with DX12, as this video shows is what I too experienced. You can't see anything like this.

I have been playing Battlefield 1 from beta and never had this issue... Until 2020. Two different systems. The first time this happened was when I upgraded my monitor from the old 27" 1080p to a 34" ultra wide. Only setting I changed was resolution from 1080p to 3440x1440. Didn't happen right away and only on two maps, Amiens being one. Changing from ultra high to low settings helped... until I died and it was back. And yes I had been playing several matches before with no problem. The solution is probably DirectX 12 off, but what is the problem? Knowing DICE, this problem will probably return to future games.

I didn't notice the issue until 2020 either, but it may have been because all of that time I had DX12 enabled until I upgraded from a GTX 745 to a 1660 TI. Then after DX12 was enabled, boom, couldn't see! Turned it off, all is well again. I don't know why this happens but I do know what the solution is.

I had the same ones only they were reflected in a puddle and in the water (and on weapons) and were green and yellow. I have rtx 2060 and r5 3600... As I understand it this is a bug that they still haven't fixed?

I changed two settings and it was gone but I dont remember names. I think I set dx11 and turned off hdr.

@@hey9433 It is the fix as it fixed this issue for me and it was identical to what is seen here in the video. I am not sure why DirectX 12 causes the issue so I don't have any answers beyond that. I never had DirectX 12 enabled until I installed a new graphics card and this is immediately when the issue showed up so I knew it had to be related, and it surely was.

Just got this bug every time i (not) play Amiens... Turns everything black after a while if you trie to somehow play through it. Any ideas how to solve this?

No idea. My problem was fixed with a patch. Now I no longer have an AMD card, never had this issue again.

I fixed set dx11 not 12 change ghraphic if ultra use high then apply and back to your last options ... im bad english sorry :D

@@HORR1FYING oh man don't tell me of bats :( hahaha anyway, I contacted EA's support, they told a few suggestions, the last one was to uninstall and reinstall the game; which I did and apparently it worked, but I haven't tested that much. I recommend you reinstall the game.

same problem in Amiens, soisons, ballroom blitz. Generally it starts when I finish a match and start a new one in the same sv. My pc: Msi rtx 2070 i5 9400f, the game is located in a ssd m.2 480gb wd.
