If you don't know what it is yet I think you might be into a station called Rumsey retro radio and another one called wnar Recreation radio and then there's another one call Audio Noir other than the name it's pretty darn good if you're into detective series another detective internet radio station is called Hanks gumshoe OTR and then there's mpir mystery play internet radio

I was 5 in 1955. Tv was just becoming a Thing, but mother liked the radio soaps and other shows on. I loved the TV version, looking forward to this!

I'm a cop. And I will misrepresent myself as legal counsel for the suspects. Amd gather information for the investigation and prosecution. Cuz that's definitely legal and ethical.

Thanks so much for this! I remember listening to Counterspy back in the 1940's. I thought it was thrilling, then. Now it brings back a lot of memories of a time that was turbulent, both for our nation at war and for me as a teenager.

However, WOR- Mutual's flagsship station in New York- preempted it for the syndicated "MYSTERY IS MY HOBBY"; they often scheduled various syndicated series {"BOX 13", "DAMON RUNYON THEATER", "BOSTON BLACKIE", et. al.} in place of the network's shows during the week, because they could sell them to local advertisers while Mutual couldn't. During this period, "JOHN STEELE" was usually heard locally on Sundays at 9:30pm......but the July 30th delayed broadcast of this episode was pre-empted by an address from British Prime Minister Clement Attlee on the Korean War. 🤨

The other witness was just murdered. No no, don't give me a description or anything. Don't spend the night in protective custody. We'll send you with a few guards to your hotel. See you tomorrow. ...maybe.
