Copper pro press fittings, uponor.... perfection. absolutely love uponor more than crimped pex because it doesnt decrease the volume by decreasing inside size with the fittings. absolutely best choice for material. Only thing I would suggest, anytime youre dealing with PVC... drainage or water... always recommend (per code in every state) to make sure you use primer as well as the glue. Each serves a different purpose for a very specific reason. FAR less likely to have a leak, and likely to have a leak sooner when you use both as opposed to just glue....

I all-was use cleaner and glue -- clean primer not the purple stuff

As a plumber, Water Heaters can be a little tricky to diagnose. If the bottom element or bottom thermostat are bad, then the unit will still have great hot water, but they will run out VERY fast. The upper thermostat heats the upper element until the temperature is reached, then the upper thermostat kicks the bottom thermostat on then the bottom element begins to heat until the temperature is reached, then it switches back to the upper and will only start heating as the temperature decreases from use when it adds more cold water into the tank, or once it cools from not being used. Always check the continuity of the elements by disconnecting the wires connecting it to the thermostat.... That will tell you which element is bad. If you reset the ECO and it quickly trips like that, is 10000000% of the time the upper element. Good job finding it! And yes, that T&P relief valve line that was kinked made my eye twitch. But then again, so do those sharkbite hoses. I like to watch my new apprentices troubleshoot a water heater and see if and how long it takes for them to be able to find it... Also, turn off the main water heater and switch those elements out FAST... never drain it... live a little, live dangerously. I get all kinds of looks when homeowners or tenants see me swap out elements and my towel catches the 1/4 cup of water that comes out in the process. Life is too short to set up the pump, drain it, swap them, fill it all the way back up... nahhhhhhhhh WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAAM

I did the “cut the hole” for someone to walk into a bathtub once. A customer bought it and finally twisted my arm enough to do it. I told them I would do it, but not guarantee it wouldn’t leak since the product wasn’t well known. It went in ok, and as far as I know it didn’t leak… but I wouldn’t do it just for the liability of it.

I know the feeling at work when they keep pushing harder. I don't let the employer set a unsustainable workload then expect that all the time. In the past I've had to have a discussion on what's doable and for my mental health let's scale this back or get me more help there choice.

I really do recommend the m12 surge for the giveaway since it's a luxury people don't ussaly get since its more expensive and they may already have a m12 impact. Once you get use to how much quieter and the smooth torque it's hard to use the animal that is the 3rd gen m12 impact. Fun fact on rebuilding thoes fans or any spindle thing I use a plumbing feral puller less likely to damage the plastic ir even the aluminum some of the fan assemblies are.

Enjoy next week as I will also be on vacation. People don’t understand what it takes to do these videos. Like the videos I do I have to prep and make sure I have everything in place for the videos. I worked many years on those old properties and you never know what you’re going to run into. I actually enjoyed that as it made the time go by faster and enjoyable the challenges

I hear you on management's "gotta have it done" attitude. I only did apartment maintenance for a few years (and yes, with paper work orders) and your comment about finishing the unit by the first of the month when there isn't even a tenant moving in brought back MANY memories. Keep your chin up, man! God bless.

The klein ET310 is awesome, have used it for other jobs but I went around my whole apartment to outlets and switches and labeled the breaker panel number on the wall covers. It comes with the standard bulb adapter which avoids having to pull down most light fixtures to find the circuit. I know things can get you down but life doesn't give you patience, it'll give you opportunities to be patient. Keep up the good work brah 🤙
