Its been a few days David - this site is actually social media as it is and for now its preferable to keep things here since its all video related than to move off site. My major? I'm not in college yet - are you or are you and when did you graduate high school - how long ago? Will probably major in commerce though. Also if you get more chances to slip with socks, why use them? Bare feet work best. Maybe do some grappling uploads in that cage with your friend?

Hello - just came across the channel, are you guys in college or in senior year of high school or which? The boxing content is great but why box in an octagon? Also traditionally isn't it best to use bare feet in the octagon rather than socks? Its better grip. I trust you enjoy MMA also?
@davikobox13 күн бұрын
Heyy, first of all thanks for coming across and leaving a comment! We graduated high school. I live in a little town so there is no exclusive boxing gyms close by, so the closest thing is this small octagon at a gym near me. If you watch through my videos I usually wear boxing shoes (Casually I forgot to bring them in this sparring) but yes you are correct, it’s better grip going barefoot. I started in the mixed martial arts world about 6 years ago, which includes karate, wrestling, kickboxing and boxing more recently focusing on boxing (I have my first amateur fight 2 months ago). Once again thanks for asking brother, by the way, what are you into? Are you new in boxing?👀

@@davikobox Hello - thanks for the response - I do jiujitsu and in PE class we did both wrestling and boxing for two weeks each in earlier years. When was graduation? Also back in high school PE - was wrestling done for a week or two? Its too bad there's no boxing gyms close by, I myself am in a suburb but we have no boxing gyms either - most martial arts gyms double as boxing facilities. How do you like using this small octagon? Its best to use bare feet on a matted surface even if its boxing so try it. How good are you at grappling? Its a girl, I am Kristy and I am in twelfth this year. Graduating will occur soon.

@@kristyg-redbelt9438 No problem! How you doing :) I see that you are well surrounded in a martial arts environment huh, interesting. I also had the opportunity on the wrestling team back in high school. So are you in college now? You do private jiujitsu classes? That’s cool! And yes, I wish we had a bigger octagon lol. Not doing a lot of grappling recently so if you got some experience you may get me there 🏃🏻➡️ And congrats for your graduation🤙🏻

@@davikobox I'm doing well David and I'm Kristy - when did you graduate high school, this past year or when and back in high school was martial arts a thing then? It is at mine since most people seem to know about MMA - I guess the sport is really exploding. Its not really a martial arts environment really, its just a thing we do in PE class for two weeks each year, but outside of that I do take jiujitsu classes. Is it just me or did the octagon you guys use have red mats before? The black mats now seem more comfortable though how is it like having boxing shoes on that surface versus being bare foot? It'd be great to see more grappling content. Graduation occurs next June.

Hey there again Kristy, yes we did 😅 and yeah you get more chances to slip if wearing socks on the math. Glad that you’re graduating soon. Can I ask what is your major? And to keep a better conversation I recommend talking somewhere else. Do you have any social media?

TIPS: if your going to flicker jab he should put his other hand in front of him to parry jabs and cross and to keep his distance doing so. and when you jab keep your head off the line so you dont get hit slip and jab and if someone gets used to that thy will throw a cross so your gonna want to roll that than step in and either punch the liver or a hook to the face if you have someone in the corner or the wall send a barrage of punches so they cant get out of it or throw a punch, so if they go left you shift step left with a hook same with the right dont back off if you throw a feint watch where they go the make the feint look more real and change it up to where they go keep your eyes on their chest that way you can see the punches and where the feet go

Coach lied but I didn’t back down and declined the fight but I did fight and I pulled a good fight so I’m proud of that 🙌🔥 hopefully next time we get honesty from the different team but always keep the attitude. 🥊

Nice to see two different but distinct styles, If white shirt gonna rely on the jab u gotta try and work off it, always think of the jab as the opener. If black shirt likes to get on the inside keep that jab active, keep moving, feinting etc use that fluidity to keep him from always launching an attack. Good work tho!
