I use organic pea protein (20 grams protein) from Azure Standard, nothing but pea protein. Also frozen banana, chia, flax, freeze dried kale, moringa (from my tree), hemp, date sugar, collagen (also from Azure, 11 g protein), and Ceylon cinnamon. For liquid I might use juice, soy, or even water. Sometimes I soak coconut in water as the liquid, rather than coconut water (less packaging waste, expense). When I have it on hand, I add cashew yogurt, sometimes Cacao powder. Most ingredients are organic. No need for the Metamucil because of the chia and flax. I used to also use beet and spinach powder, but because of the oxalates, I cut them out. For a mocha smoothie, I'll use espresso ice cubes, soy, and cacao. I use a Magic Bullet, not a big blender. Works well, but I have to be careful not to overload it. My morning smoothie averages around 40 g of protein. A splash of vanilla or almond extract makes it especially tasty. I agree, it's hard to get the recommended daily protein just eating meat, that's for sure! I'd need to eat all day. Because the pea protein and the collagen have no flavoring. they're easy to add to other foods, especially the collagen as it dissolves very easily. Thanks for the video.
