You actually dipped a bit into the tenor range, so your voice sits on the lower end for a boy. That's great it dropped some, too. I understand though how you feel you were always meant to have a low voice. I hear you about being uncomfortable with singing treble clef. At puberty I was almost baritone but for awhile I was put in the alto section. My alto notes were so weak that it was embarassing. When I was put in the tenor section I felt better. My dysphoria arises from not sounding like a fully grown man and just sounding like a 13-year old. I'm able to alleviate it by singing countertenor, because my vocal range matches that of an adult countertenor's. I get dysphoric when I try to sing along with baritones, baritone-tenors or even low tenors, because their high notes are my low notes. It reminds me my vocal chords haven't masculinized enough to be able to sing along with them in their vocal register.

I wouldnt say i was stronger there were moments tho but as a kid i was pretty confrontational with guys i didnt like. At winter sports one year i did basketball instead of iceskating and got along great with the coach and tried to act all cool but just ended up looking stupis half the time but he was impressed with my shooting skills. Man i miss my hoop.

I dont have the luxury of therapy sadly. Out of nowhere like onlya week ago the thought popped in my head what if i was trans then i had a anxiety attack realizing all the ways i was similar to guys and yeah. Im almost certain im a guy..of course there is still doubt but after i changed my youtube profile from Khara to Caleb and something just clicked. I literally argued with myself for a few days it was nuts.

I feel for you. I did a legal name change, but it took 8 weeks to get my medical insurance to acknowledge and change it- I literally had to threaten refusal of payment before they "promptly" changed my name in their systems. (It was changed the next day.) This is only because I changed my first name- apparently, if I had a name change due to marriage or divorce, it would have only taken "up to 2 weeks", which is their stated timeframe. Four months and a new year of health plan later, I'm still having issues with it. There needs to be more awareness of these "small details", so thanks for making the video!

I'm not 30 but I'm 24 and just finally decided to stop denying the fact that I'm trans. Starting my transition now and only have come out to a few people. I knew I was supposed to be a guy when i was 11 but when I told people they basically told me I had to be a girl so I hid my feelings and tried my best to embrace femininity. Can't do it anymore, no matter how hard it is to transition, come out, all the medical stuff, name change, etc. I searched for your video because I keep hearing about people who transitioned in their teens, something i feel i should have been able to do. But it helps to know that there are people out there who transition later. There's no right time to transition, just the time that you're ready. Everyone's experience is different and i think it's really important to share later transitioning people's stories.

Congrats on embracing your authentic self! It can be super confusing and scary - especially when you start comparing yourself to others! You’ve got this. You have so much life to live and now you get to do that happy, genuine and authentically! Looking forward to seeing your growth :)

Hello Harry, I'm a 50 year old Italian ftm. Started T 4 months ago. And I have all the same issues as you. It really sucks sometimes, like being misgendered but, hey, don't worry, 50 years as your female friend feel free to take your time to adjust (to my friends) but then me myself are still adjusting among self doubt, pronounce issues and everything else. I know I want to look male, no question about it and no question about my breast for example which I can't stand anymore. But it's a winding road every single day. These days especially with my group of lesbian friends which I don't know where to stand anymore. So much going on
