1056 (Honor Platoon) right here, Senior Drill Instructor. I had a wild route the Marine Corps and ended up becoming commissioned later on. Upon my last Regimental OOD as a 1st Lt before getting out, I'll never forget walking up to the Regimental CP to begin my last time on duty and seeing the SNCOOD ahead of me, putting his duty belt on... then turned around only to feel what it must feel to see a ghost who had a baby with a pops you don't f--- with. No one could've written a better ending to my USMC life, and I feel that most may have some doubt that I really had the 1 in millions privilege to stand duty with my SDI. You even looked at me like, "What the hell's this turd's problem?" , then you looked at my name tape and I saw you thinking, "Where do I know that name?" Didn't take but a minute to confess (before risking an "integrity check"😅), "I was one of yours. You're my Senior Drill Instructor. Your last platoon, 1056 -- Honor Platoon." I'll always be grateful as hell, having that chance to ask all the "Why did you guys smoke us when we did XYZ..." questions, "Why the hell didn’t crappers have toilet seats?" or confessing why I was late to relieve late chow at rifle range because I had to shit so bad so I slammed a porter jon en route, only to discover my canteen fell in the can & had to fish it out. Hope life is going good, Sir. S/F, Danish

@MSgt_Boon MSgt, I saw another vid of yours with the 1056 Rifle Range flag that Smitty did. Smitty & I enlisted together. Although he spins the truth of how he became "Art Recruit" (he tells everyone I told Blake he was an artist -- "Blue Falcon'ed" him), the truth is we were told by 2nd FAST Company Marines at our "going off to boot camp party" to NOT volunteer to be scribe or art recruit. When Drill Instructor SSgt Blake (later met up with him as a First Sergeant attached to TF MP 3/10) said, "If any you dink you an artist or some shit, step underneath my lights." Smitty's dumbass stepped under the lights along with 6-8 others. Unfortunately for Smitty, he was the closest to Blake. After a short exchange, Blake deemed Smitty "Art Recruit" -- but it didn't stop there... Oh no... my best bud made his first (unrealized) Blue Falcon move and said, "Sir! Recruit Danish is an Artist too!" Blake said, "You see Recruit Danish underneath my lights, ding?" Smitty glanced to his left, searching all the way down the squad bay. Yeah, my ass hadn't forgotten the advice from 2nd FAST. I stayed on the line. Smitty, confused with a hint of "wtf, Danish?", snapped his head forward and yelled, "NO, SIR!" Too which Blake replied, "Well I guess Recruit Danish cain't ART!" 🤣😅😉 Smitty remembers what you said when you first saw the platoon range flag: "What the...? That's f-ing cheesy, Smith." 😁 Thank God his smokey racks turned out better (I'm a better artist by the way... and now I'll haze myself for an integrity violation, but worth it). Not sure how to exchange contact data privately on here (never done it), but if possible, I'll pass my info & Smitty's.

I have had to correct several roosters. You can correct them in different ways. Some people will hang roosters by their feet and gently swing them upside down until the behavior changes. I had to correct 4 at once. The roosters were in a small coop I took them out one at a time turned him over and spanked him on each side. Some of the roosters challenged mpre than once, they like to attack you from behind. One spurred me while standing beside me. My neighbors Russian Orloff rooster came to my yard and tried to attack me, I caught him held him under my arm so he couldn't flap his wings, held his feet so he couldn't spur me and pet him roughly on and around his head. I eventually made a sling so I could wear the rooster, slipped a tube scarf over his wings and tied it tightly, then tied his feet and carried him like a baby for at least an hour. The rooster ended up falling asleep, when I let him go he ran from me and only tried to attack me when he thought I was hurting a hen. I would keep him in line by clapping my hands at him and chasing him. I would also hold my arms open as if he were going to come to me for a hug and chase him asking if he wanted chicken love. This rooster had to be corrected by every person he came across. However he turned out to be a really good rooster.
