Stop calling your man made protestant CULT a church that’s blasphemy
@QuisUtDeus8285 ай бұрын
Christ gave the keys to Heaven and Earth to Peter. The keys are a symbol of the authority given to Peter and passed onto his successors. Christ also gave the authority to bind and loose sin. Protestants dont have any understanding of the Early Church and therefore they have a defective understanding of the nature of the Church
This man tells partial truth and teaches hell exists in the present moment instead of future tense “”hell is reserved “”for the devil and his angels and his followers ! Also wow Abraham’s bosom must be the size of Texas.

Arrogance knows God & will fervently tell you so. Wolves in sheep's clothing, speaking to a wicked generation, are known by these works: indoctrinating children with their fantasyland vocabulary.

How can anyone keep from laughing at some podium jockeys? Theologians grant Doctorates as if we were dealing with a science having fantasyland vocabulary. We know this wolf in sheep's clothing by their practice of indoctrinating children with their fantasyland narrative, & their vocabulary of The Garden of Eden. Freud wrote, "The antidote to Christianity is literacy." I don't teach Christians because I expect them to learn, I teach them because they are illiterate.

Not everyone can pretend God made Mormons so Christians would know how Jews feel. If Jesus Christ had a competent God, then the Jews would be buying it, they settle for Moses, world's worst navigator, guiding the people of God as if progress can be made with one foot in fantasyland. We "know them by their works". They indoctrinate children with a fictional vocabulary & speak of signs. The only sign given is Jonah: Being outnumbered by a wicked generation of believers, was tossed overboard. Like a silly believer, he even asked for it. The Book of Jonah 11 Then they said to him, "What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?" For the sea grew more and more tempestuous. 12 He said to them, "Take me up and throw me into the sea; then the sea will quite down for you; for I know it is because of me that this great tempest has come upon you." Rsv It is by faith Jonah was picked up and tossed overboard, being mindless, he asked for it.

Your church may or may not be corrupt, but one thing is for sure... it is wayward but you just do not know it yet.

As the crowds increased, Jesus said, This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah, who was sacrificed overboard & the raging sea grew calm. The sign of Jonah is the superstitious working their way to a majority & good people dying.

One has to wonder what shape Christianity might have taken had Paul not got his meaty hands on it, or had the pseudo-Pauline epistles not been forged.

Let us stop looking at our scriptures as if it were ethical to suggest we all travel better with one foot in a stranger's fantasyland. Even Jesus Christ condemns faith for worthlessness in commanding mountains to move.

If God existed, everyone would know of Her & theologians would only be found in fiction. Christians lack some sense of quality-control. The Mormons glued their books onto them both. No one looks for prophets in a phone book, nothing fails like prayers in a children's hospital. The bible stories are so silly, the agenda must be something else. The reason why suggesting religious beliefs is unethical is the same reason it would be to suggest travel with one foot in someone's fantasyland. Christianity is a government project of wealth creation & protection, "Render to Caesar what is his & to God what is His".

Is there a scripture reference. We're studying Acts. What chapter? It's week 81. If we took a verse per week we'd be almost done with the book by now.

For the past two weeks Bob has been doing the background of first century Israel - politics, laws, sects, beliefs, etc. In these two weeks he has covered no scripture - we left off at Acts 15 and have not advanced in the text. You are correct, Bob is very detailed and methodical (slow). He has written commentaries on Acts with quite a bit of in-depth study.

@@newhoperoadchurchofchrist1723 - I was seriously interested in a study on Acts. It wasn't until I grasped the weight of the Book of Galatians that I was able to see the politics behind what was going on in the latter chapters of the Book of Acts. I was called "disruptive" at the last church of Christ bible study where I remarked that the Apostle Paul "disobeyed the Holy Spirit". The elder said, "It doesn't say that." And he's right. The bible never says the words "Paul disobeyed the Holy Spirit". But just like it never uses the term Trinity either, doesn't mean that the concept is not valid. Acts 21:4 - And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem. The Spirit said that Paul should not go to Jerusalem. Okay, what did Paul do? Now, what is that behavior called? Our religion depends on the apostles being every bit as perfect as Jesus of Nazareth but the bible doesn't support that theology. As a member of the Lord's church, it is incumbent upon us to read the scriptures without the rose colored lenses we were given in Vacation Bible School. There was REAL politics in the first century. Not all the apostles were singing out of the same hymnal and if we allow the bible to speak to us - instead of imposing our agenda on it - we will see a reality that they never taught in VBS. Religion is politics but we try to deny that. And I have never been part of any bible study that was so bold as to admit that fact. Furthermore, any study of the Book of Acts without a detailed study of the Book of Galatians is like hearing only one side of a telephone conversation. The mainstream church HATED Paul. How's that for a salty bible study? 😆

It is obvious any suggestion of real spiritual things is immoral because it is like recommending we all travel with one foot in someone's fantasyland. Faith proves worthless when you can't have mountains magically move, responding to your landscaping commands. Matthew 6:1-34 People who believe the bible have faith, those who read the bible become atheists.

I never thought to compare hymns to scriptures. I always thought they were just peoples thoughts about things. Makes me want to study my hymnal with a Bible. Thanks for a unique way of looking at the hymns.
