Can you explain all of the devices you have for this? I understood that the EAP225 still needed an access point? We have Starlink at a cottage in Ontario and are trying to extend the wifi to another cabin about 200’ away. We have the Starlink router and the EAP225 but just learned that we should also get something like the RE650 - but it seems you actually disconnected your RE450? If so, that solves so much of our problem ! Thanks for the great video!

Tony! Man! You're a life saver! I'm having exactly the same issue with my 2012 GLK. I've replaced the wheel speed sensor and no joy. I came across your post in the MB forum last night and watched your video today. I'm a fellow Newfoundlander living in Ottawa. I'm trying to get this issue sorted out before heading home this summer. I'm no stranger to working on cars but this issue had me stumped. Thanks so much for posting this. I feel much more confident tackling the repair myself now. If all goes well I'll be at my cabin at Ocean Pond in early July. Fingers crossed!!! I'll update you on how it goes. P.S. nice V-Max!!

Just finished replacing my 2021 ranger’s rear. A tip you may not have mentioned, you’ll need the rewind tool. With my experience you need to place the tool in the caliper and alternate between tightening the nut at the upper portion of the tool and then rotate the handle (counterclockwise for driver’s and clockwise for passenger). Do it a little at a time to completely compress the piston. The pads were tricky, as i had to insert them at almost a 80 degree angle and rotate them into place to make them sit in the bracket. If you’re replacing the rotor, mine was really stuck in there so i took a small 2x4 and placed it against the backside of the rotor and smacked it while rotating the rotor until it popped off. The hand brake does not need adjustment or touching, just make sure you support it so you dont stress the brake lines. Everything else is pretty much standard when it comes to doing brakes

There are 3 brands available on rock auto, GDP, Four Seasons and UAC. Do you know which brand you used? Have already tried the four seasons and we can seat the coil. May try another brand before we pull the compressor to replace.

Did you have to put your range into service rear brake mode to work on the rear brakes or did you just push the piston in with no problem I have a 2021 range XLT
@iancrumb71808 ай бұрын
If you have a manual handbrake, just have it released. If you have a electronic handbrake then you will have to put it into a service mode. There's no service mode on the manual release ones

Looks like a nightmare. I was going to try this but have decided to just stick with my R6 with the RTX 2070 Super. I'll just get a new PC altogether and keep my R6 as a streaming PC since it's good at that and get a newer Gaming PC. Leaning towards Lenovo Legion. I'd really hate to run into Alienware's custom upgrading issues again in the future. THANKS for the video.

Great review and testing Tony! Amazing different with the 5Ghz! I think when you were using the router inside the detached garage, it was bottlenecking the throughput. That EAP225 has great generation. 5Ghz, although it doesn't do distance very, you get the generation, compared to the 2.4Ghz. Question: what band are your cameras using? If they are 2.4Ghz and were not powered down during test, those will use bandwidth while performing the throughput test. 45+ Mbps is actually impressive on 2.4Ghz with the cams operating. I was having the same issues as you in my detached garage, and didn't know about the EAP225, so I thrnched some outdoor shielded cat5e through conduit into my garage and mounted a Ubiquiti LR UAP, and it is also amazing. Great video and great find with thatbnew device.

How did you compress the break caliper?
@aidenhernandez5296 Жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm wondering this too. I see you can't compress them like normal with the old brake pad and you need some specialty tool. What do you mean turning counter/clockwise?
@Ejb99 Жыл бұрын
@@aidenhernandez5296 I ended up loaning the caliper reset tool from AutoZone. The piston needs to be turned while it is pressed in, hence the notches on the face of the piston. The drivers side needs to be turned counter clockwise and the passenger clockwise.

I've changed brakes a few times on my Toyota vehicles and once on my wife's ford escape. Anything I should be aware of for doing the front of my 2021 Ranger? Any specialty tools other than the clamp to compress the brakes?
@fattwotontony Жыл бұрын
I have not done front brakes on mine yet but my understanding is there is nothing special about the front and they are not the twist in calipers
@jdanger95816 ай бұрын
Front brakes were relatively simple. Piston uses a 13mm (iirc) socket and the hanger uses a 16mm. The hanger was a PITA to unscrew. The piston is a double piston design. I used channel locks and an old pad to compress both pistons simultaneously. I have a 2019 Ranger.
