It would be nice to see what your wrists are doing and the actual movement of them. One can sort of figure it out but it would be nice to see your hands and what they are doing. Llike someone suggested on here ..seeing how the back hand works would be great ....and also the saucer pass!!!!! I have played a lot of hockey but in giving tips to newer or unskilled players I have to really break the movements down. Really makes me have to think what I am doing to be able to explain it so cudos to you for doing this. This video is a good example of breaking things down. The one person I was trying to teach on how to shoot is having a huge issue with weight transfer. Even a simple thing like shooting has so many moving parts to it!! Thanks for posting!!!

These are great tips. I think what I have trouble with is how fast these three phases happen. I can rarely get lift on my shots with any accuracy.

Just wanted to say thank you for all of your incredible videos. I have 3 kids in minor hockey and I didn't know where to begin when it came to teaching them how to shoot. They have all improved dramatically since I started focusing on the points you make in your videos. Thank you from a hockey dad in Calgary!

Thanks for this Tim! So much of athletic movement is done through the hips, yet I feel like it is rarely talked about. Something I need to keep emphasizing with my content and my clients!

Hey, Tim thank you for all your videos. Wasn't it Gordie Howe who said he always practiced his backhand first? That being said I'd love to see your breakdown of backhand technique. Your videos are the best out there for technique. Thanks.

Thanks Double D! Stay tuned! I'll be posting a video about the backhand and it's technique, probably in the summer! Keep you and yours safe and healthy!

Is this the same position that you would be in during your stride?
@timturkhockey98884 жыл бұрын
This drill is to help set and maintain each players' power position and posture level. Each player's power position is unique. No matter what the situation, the longer you can maintain your power position, the more efficient you will be.
