I wanted to share my experience with Epidemic Sound to help others who might be considering a platform for licensed music. I recently decided to switch to a different service because I found their music and SFX library to be quite limited, and a major downside was that my clients or other accounts not directly linked to mine couldn’t use the tracks. When I went to cancel my subscription, I discovered that I had unknowingly been charged for two identical subscriptions under the same account. I had no idea this was even possible, but it meant I was being billed twice a month for what I believed was just one personal plan. There were no warnings or notifications about this, and when I reached out, they didn't take full accountability. If you're using or thinking about using Epidemic Sound, I recommend regularly checking your account details and being cautious about their billing practices. Just a heads-up so others can avoid the same issue! - (Just signed up for Artlist)

I really prefer the sound of MKE400 even when I did my tests but mostly went from the Videomic NTG because of reliability, that thing worked like 50% of the time compared to the Sennheiser. I don't think I'll ever buy any Rode mic again after this experience.

I dont even know if what Im looking for exists, but Im hoping you can tell me if ArtList fits this bill. I write lyrics for Parody songs. I can record a decent acoustic version of what I do, but if youre using AC.DC as your origin, that dosnt always parody well on an acousitic. That being said, if I have the lyrics and the backing track van ArtList them "merge the two" so that the new lyrics are "sung" in a style similar to the orginal, in this example Brian Johnson. I can only imagine this would be hugely difficult to do, but could also dominate an industry. Anyone? ArtList or something else? Thanks

Decent components, absolutely ugly, scary, looking throw together. As others have said, Will Prowse has some great video's on building your own, and he shows people how very well. That said, I believe anyone could throw one together, but, there's so many other things to consider if you want a great system. Myself, I won't buy or build anything that's not low frequency, transformer based,,at least 24v or more, and has a idle consumption under 15w. Most never think of idol consumption. If your idol consumption is just 100w, that's 2400w to just be turned on in a day, or 100ah @24v. Now if your idol consumption 15w, that's a mere 360w in 24 hrs. Simple stuff like that, change the whole game. And that's just 1 aspect of the game! 🙈🙉🙊, Imagine what you could learn if you put your mind to it

Here is what DJI says about its UPS functions from there site. What is the UPS mode of DJI Power 1000? How do I use it? UPS, short for Uninterruptible Power Supply, is mainly used to supply power to devices through DJI Power 1000 when there is a power outage and prevent accidents that might otherwise be caused. When electrical devices are connected to the powered-on DJI Power 1000 and both are receiving grid power, DJI Power 1000 defaults to UPS mode. DJI Power 1000 can start powering the connected devices within 0.02 seconds. You can decide whether to use this mode based on the device(s) you are using. When using UPS mode, the charging speed will be subject to the load of the connected appliances, which changes dynamically, so the time required to fully charge these appliances will also differ.

Nice vid Tommy! For the DJI's SDC part, as a drone owner I'm happy that it supports drone fast charges, and 24v DC output - much better than traditional 12v cig outlets. The way I see it it's DJI's own proprietary port that other brands don't have yet. Perhaps they'll come up with some more stuff to make better use of that port.

I paid a year subscription. At first, voices were ok but, now the decided updating the site which changed how all the voices sounded ,even the volumen. After complaining they added 2 month to my credict and said they were working to solve the problem, 2 weeks and still waiting so, for now I just can't recommend.

50,000 credits (characters/letters) per month without a way to add more credits is strange. If you have a channel built around narrated stories, you will need more than that, especially because you will obviously need to dial in the voice and adjust pauses and create retakes, all costing credits. Their trial gives you 400 characters. I didn't realize that and tested it with one voice for a couple sentences. Well, I didn't even get to try it for another voice, because that was it. My trial was over.

Appreciate the time you put into this. I purchased the Ugreen with the 200w panel when they ran their Prime deal and its been great. Looking at buying another backup for a friend and I am seeing Ecoflow now has the same 1024 Wh battery with a 220w panel for $750! This is less then Ugreen but I'm wondering if there is a difference in the LiFePO4 battery quality.

My very serious concern is you have massive lithium ion batteries inside your home. Even Tesla power units are mounted outside. They are known to blow up. Very risky having so much in your home.

Hi what mic would you recommend for a cooking ASMR over the fire in nature channel? I would not mind picking up some of the ambient nature sounds when cooking. The fire will be hot so to mic won't always be able to be super close to the cookingaction. The mic will be on a boom and close up to the cooking actions. Would a MKE600 or MKE400 or MKE440 work well?

I haven't had any issues with my C1000 It doesn't seems fair to simply not recommend a product based off of this one issue you had with your unit. This is only one unit you could have gotten a lemon it happens these power stations are mass produced. I also haven't heard of any other people having this issue either myself included. It would be a completely different story if hundreds or thousands of C1000 units where experiencing this issue but there is just no evidence of that yet.

My Delta 3 Plus exhibits a high pitched hiss when charging between 600W - 1500W. When I sent EcoFlow a video they said that it was abnormal and sent me a return label. Does yours make any sound other than soft fan noise while charging? The fans are super quiet, but the transformer charging noise is unnerving frequency wise even though it's not loud.

Dam dude, I just bought one a few weeks back …. It’s been working great, and I’ve been working it like a dog. Did I make a mistake ? I've never had a problem with Anker before this incident. I reached out to them for comment and sent them videos of the device malfunctioning. To their credit, they have already offered to ship out a replacement, and I also asked them if regular customers (not influencers) will receive the same level of support.. will be making an update video on this. Stay tuned.

Stuff breaking is normal. Should be avoided at all costs but it will eventually happen. How easy it is to repair or get exchanged is where I judge a company. Afaik this seems like a firmware issue which should be able to be solved by firmware or worse case scenario, change the control unit. The battery packs themselves should be fine.
@TommyCallawayАй бұрын
I have reached out to Anker and will provide an update on my experience.
