This was filmed only a few miles from where we lived. I Lived through those memory clips there.I have to say it breaks my heart every time I watch this film, and this music piece inparticular.Peter P portrayng the miner, suffering with black lung is a masterpiece of acting. They were dark and very difficult times indeed. Some families never managed to recover financially from the repercussions of the Strike, or the consequences of the working environment on miners working the pit face. Most kids these days dont appreciate how easy they actually have it most of the time.

Heaven's Gate: The epic Western that almost destroyed Hollywood. Cimino's 5-hour masterpiece was a gamble that didn't pay off, but its legacy is undeniable. A tale of greed, power, and the American West, this film is a must-watch for any cinephile. Have you seen it? What did you think? #heavensgate #michaelcimino #western #cinema #cultclassic

never understood why this was considered “horror”. it’s a great film that had a couple moments of fright but more importantly should have been a lesson for those who went through life thinking they could get away with being assholes. i remember those people from high school. i always wished that the folks that were tormented had some way to get back at them. i hope all the CARRIEs of the world made it out ok…
@hypnos933616 күн бұрын
lol what weird thing to say. obviously it's horror. first of all it's horrific what happens to everyone, and second there's literally supernatural activity that takes place. what would you constitute this as, romantic comedy?
