Judging from the condition and age of the tow vehicle...somebody came into some money, has no clue what they're doing, yet decided to scratch a childhood itch they had. Sorry to say these guys looked like a bunch of amateurs. Apart from no-one in the driving seat I cringed everyone time someone jogged (not even walked) close to the tyres turning at enough speed to send a person flying if they made contact with them. And the guy leaning into the driver's cockpit what was he doing, and why wasn't he in a better position. I hope that 13 years after this clip was uploaded the team are wiser and more professional and safer for themselves and everyone else.

looks like the blowout plate whent first then the mixture got ignited somehow and blew the blower of the manifold , then it had access to a lot of air and revved up , there lucky the engine gave a warning first

That was just dumb on many levels, you had two guys running around the car that obviously had no idea what they were doing, the guy standing on the frame trying to push the clutch do what should have been done from sitting in the car, it was just a scary and bad deal to watch from the beginning!
