For a strong hull and flooring it would need about 5 days minimum before taken out of the mold.

Not enough layers of fiberglass and core layers either. It needs several layers more for a stronger and more sturdy boat especially the transom.

Great tour of Robalo Factory. Wish it was a bit more in depth but I can appreciate the proprietary nature of some of their construction processes. Definitely top of my list for research!

I looked at one yesterday. What's with the caulk to fill gaps? I thought Robalo was a top tier boat? I really love the r250. Most likely going to get one. But I will not take delivery if there's a 1" of caulk to fill a gap.

Hi, I’m looking at a 2014 Robalo R180 here in Uk. Just a few questions. If you lift the engine up can you safely berth/park the boat on a soft sandbar? Understanding that pebbles/stones etc are a no no. How are they at handling chop. My default choice here in UK is almost always a RIB. the likes of the French built Merry Fishers etc are dynamically poor and I’m looking for a safe riding sea boat that doesn’t drag its stern like the Merry Fishers. Thanks in advance, we don’t see many centre consoles here in UK and we certainly don’t have the fishing mentality that you do. In Uk fishing is seen as a dirty messy sport undertaken by grumpy unstylish men in beards (apologies to beard owners). But the centre console has a sort of pizazz that is not seen in our waters and that’s why they excite me as opposed to a standard Rib.

Robalo should make the boat 12 feet wide. Much more room for "family and friends" Most people that buy a 25 footer would like to trailer it and be able to transport it without a special permit.

I got the robalo r160 wanted a bigger one but cant get anything bigger in my garage and after the hurricane in Florida I'm thinking my boat in my garage isn't that bad

Why not another window on the center console on the starboard side so there could be good cross ventilation. This also can assist in reducing mold build up on the pump out piping to the toilet. Otherwise beautiful boat.

I first had a Cayman 206 for a year. Now I've owned an R230 for about a year. It's more of a family first, fishing last design. I've gone 20 miles out, comfortably. I'm definitely going for this upgrade! It has nothing but fishing written all over rear of the boat. The true family/fisher boat! Can't wait.

Saw it yesterday at the Orlando Boat show 2021. Very impressive. Great amount of room. The 9’4” beam & the space behind the leaning post just makes the boat feel a lot more roomier. Loved the front & rear casting platforms! My wife loved all the seating, she counted 10 seats. W/kids maybe couple more. Looks like a Bay boat/hybrid, the 12” screens in the model looked amazing. The trolling motor with GPS hold is a game changer. Been looking for over 2 years for the right boat. I think we just found it!! The one in the video looks like the same one at the Boat show. approx $142K outifitted with dual 12” screens & GPS trolling motor. Oh, did I mention the Jack Plate!! Say whaaaat?! Nice job guys!!
