Traveling in our community is no different than anyone else. We're all equal once we leave our homes with a suitcase in hand. 😊

Thank you for your comment! We completely agree that the joy of traveling is something we all share, no matter who we are. At the same time, we believe there’s value in exploring from an LGBTQ perspective-whether it’s connecting with others in the community, supporting LGBTQ-owned businesses, or visiting spaces that have played a role in our history. It's about celebrating the diversity of our experiences while embracing the common love of travel! 😀

There is no gay Puerto Vallarta, but all of it is gay friendly. November and May are the best months to visit. 😊

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We love that Puerto Vallarta is so welcoming and inclusive. While some areas are especially known for their vibrant LGBTQ+ scene, the whole city truly embraces diversity. We agree that November and May are great times to visit, but having lived and visited from November through April, we can say that the entire season is wonderful with amazing weather and events to enjoy! 😊

I'm so glad I quit going to Vallarta in the 90s, it's been ruined! There used to be three bars Paco's, a dear friend, Los Balconies and another one I don't remember the name. It looks like a gay strip in some big ugly American city now. What happened to the blue chairs down on the beach? Your whole video was a blur. (Horrible camera work and all you cared about was that your face was in the frame) This isn't Puerto Vallarta anymore, it's a town taken over by ugly Americans, it's so sad to see. Why do we ruin everything we touch, I used to go down to Punta Mita and campout with my boyfriend, right on the beach, there were no motels there then. I don't recognize any of it anymore, it just looks big crowded commercialized and gross. Heartbreaking 💔

Thank you for the very kind words Paulo. Keep making you videos and sharing your travels with us. I think they're great. Have you every traveled to Seattle. I never been there but I'm curious to go to places I've never been as a gay traveler. I never been to Canada. Can you recommend a nice place to visit for the gay traveler in Canada? I heard Calgary was nice but never been there. Best to both of you guys! ❤
@OutBeyondBoundaries

Thank you so much! Currently have 7 other videos in queue to be worked on so working hard to get those up here 😆 As for Seattle, we’ve been many times since it’s just 2hrs drive from where we live in Vancouver. Capital Hill is there gay area and has a cool vibe to there, but they also have other cool places to check out like their famous Market area, the iconic Space needle, and there’s a short ferry ride you can take to one of their islands. With Canada, if you aren’t a fan of winter then only come here during the late Spring, Summer or early Fall. 😆 So Vancouver is great because there’s a mix of city & nature, Calgary is the city I grew up in and has a decent gay scene but it’s not like other major cities…the best time to go is during the Calgary Stampede in July as there are quite a few gay events that happen. Toronto would be another good city as their gay area around Church street is quite good. And Montreal is one of our favourite cities in Canada because it has a bit of a European feel to it, and also has a good gay community there. Hope this info helps!

Thank you for letting me know that Wilton Manors is separate from Fort Lauderdale. I've updated our video title and thumbnail. Definitely try other cruises. My husband and I have been on several, including Gay cruises with Atlantis Events. The biggest pros are being able to see various locations and not having to lug our luggage from place to place, and the costs includes your hotel accommodations, all meals (except if you dine in one of the specialty dining rooms). So definitely try another cruise; especially recommend the Med cruises.

I’m glad you’s guys got to go to the clubs and the nice restaurants and shopping. There’s quite a lot of malls around South Florida too that offer great shopping! Aventura Mall is in North Miami, Town Center Mall is in Boca. 😊

Your information about Sapphire Beach Club is wrong. We have been going there for years and we love it. But there is a day fee of 300 pesos per person (in 2024. It could be higher depending when people are watching this), which is added on top of your bill to whatever food or drink you order. For us the fee is more than worth it for all the amenities the club has. There are SOME beach clubs in PV that do not charge a fee if you order a minimum of food and drinks, but Sapphire is not one of them. That kind of information is important to check before you do a video like this. If people who saw your video then go there and get the bill, they're going to be in for a surprise with that 300 peso charge. Some actual close-up shots of the different clubs would also have been helpful, rather than walking along the water from so far away, to give people more of an idea of what they are like and what they offer. Just a suggestion for next time, if you do another video.
@OutBeyondBoundaries
@OutBeyondBoundaries 4 ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. During my visits to Sapphire, I wasn't charged a day fee, and I went both on weekends and weekdays. However, having lived in Puerto Vallarta, I understand that things can change frequently, and I may have just been fortunate to visit during times when they weren't charging. I appreciate you pointing out the current day fee and providing that information. Your suggestion about including more close-up shots of the beach bars is also very helpful, and I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks again for your insights! 😊

@@OutBeyondBoundaries What time of year were you visiting? Low season? The entrance fee is listed at the entrance and on the website quite clearly. We've been going for 10 years in high season (January-February) , and there has always been a day fee. IN our experience from seeing other guests, the only times they might waive it were if they arrived an hour before closing time or something.

I was there during the end of November and was also there during January. The times I went were mid-afternoon, so I honestly don’t know why I wasn’t charged. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Regardless, thanks for pointing that out so others are aware. 👍🏽😊

Puerto Vallarta is an amazing city where everyone can have a great time! While many guides focus on groups or couples, there's a vibrant scene here for single people too, including brown gay men. From beach clubs to nightlife hotspots, there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people and have a blast.

@@OutBeyondBoundaries hope so cos it isnt easy or cheap to travel alone. I have had too many bad experiences doing it across the US, from the gay games to IML. I tend to be ignored and never fit in because I am short, ethnic looking, or not with friends or bfs. It has actually ended up causing a very complex anxiety issue and as much as gay people want to wash their hands of it and tell me to seek therapy, the reality is, we as a community cause these issues for each other. anyway. I hope my experience is a decent one in PV

I'm sorry to hear about your past experiences. It's understandable how those situations could cause anxiety. Wishing you a wonderful and fulfilling experience in Puerto Vallarta!
