they got you right where they wanted you with that documentary they are propaganda movies that are intended to stear people in a different direction. If they would make it about how plants are a live and they could somehow let you here the screaming of the vegetables when they get chopped up and sprayed on with pesticides girl you would never eat plants again.... Plants are alive to and sprayed on with al kinds of stuff and i do agree with the meat industry is not oke there are way to many animals poorly raised for us to eat. But i know if they would should down the fastfood joints so many animals would be saved from a bad life. But i don't believe going vegan is the answer because most fruits and vegetables we eat today did not exist 50 to 100 years ago and if they did they where alot more bitter or smaller. Have you seen what a true banana looks like? it not much bigger then you finger and full of seeds. Alot of the vegetables we eat are gmo and lot's of insect and small wild life die to make room for the growing of crops. And to be honest the cave paintings never showed growing crops but hunting deer or antilope... But he if you feel like going vegan is good for you the you do you just monitor your health because there are also more stories coming out from ex vegans talking about how veganisme destroyed there health and that eating meat is getting them back on track health wise. You can make better choices there is grassfed beef from cows that had a good life instead of being caged and fed corn to fatten them up.

I respect you so much for sharing this personal story. I love how we all can have a variety of reasons for being vegan but simultaneously we all share the same values and the discipline to embody those values in our lives every day. we don’t make excuses for not making the choices we have control over because we know how fulfilling it is to make a commitment that aligns with our beliefs and stick to it! I had a similar experience watching a documentary and realizing how I was making food choices based on society conditioning- not actually based on how I prefer to fuel my body with food that isn’t processed and horrible for me in the long run. I don’t judge anyone who isn’t vegan because as a vegan for almost 3 years, it can be hard to be the odd one out and feel judged for being strict about your values. but once you get used to maintaining your values and develop enough respect for yourself to not give af what others will project on you- it’s the best to be vegan! okay i didn’t expect to comment this much, I love powerful vegan women 😂❤️ sending you love and please keep the recipes coming on insta!

hahah no I love long comments! Thank you for giving your perspective! I totally agree I love hearing peoples "why's" because that's typically where we all defer - one thing we all share in common is the descipline to keep it up. Also, def went through a phase of judgement but I do believe that if your why is strong enough you won't care, thank you for the love and I promise to keep the recipes coming! PS - I feel best when food isn't processed as well!
