Look at the Nutrimill Artiste Mixer it’s much better than a KitchenSid plus have all the attachments too. I got one for Christmas and use it everyday and love it.

I have seen a KZbinr I watch use this, and it is not what I am looking for. When I talk about attachments, I'm talking about the ones you can add to the front of the Kitchen Aid: the pasta maker, the food processor, etc. That mixer is great but it's for dough products and I want to do more than just make dough.

Glad you’re back posting videos. I saw your last video, I hope your new planner setup is successful. I’m trying something new in 2025 too. With the exception of paying bills online, I’,m a 90% cash budgeter, working envelopes for food, miscellaneous and personal. All categories fall under the 3, keeping it simple. For the care credit I would do the 4 payments and save some money, not for games but to boost your savings in case of an emergency.

Thank you, for the Video. Definitely option one, that is a good decision. And if you pay of all of your creditcards in January, you will Not have the rates in February, so you can use this money, to play games and make videos. By the way, i don't like gaming videos. I would suggest three No-Buy Months. You could make Videos about the challenge and the creativ solutions you and your daughter creat. 😊

Thanks for the comment. I won't be able to pay off all of the cards in January-just four out of the five cards. So, in February and March, I would need to make the payments to be completely out of debt. I can see your idea about the no-spend, but I'm not sure how I would put that into videos. It's something to think about. I know I need to do a no-spend for sure.

Nice meal planning and grocery haul. I also refuse to buy fruit due to the high cost, it’s so terrible. It’s obvious to me that careful thought goes into your planning and shopping. We don’t have an Aldi’s where I live but we have a Walmart and Grocery Outlet. If I shop at a big chain grocery store I pay easily 1/3 more, probably due to employee salaries, they are all union, but sometimes there is no choice.

Thank you. I totally agree with big box stores you can get 4 things and easily spend $100. Out of all the readings, videos, and people I have talked to. The same advice I got across the board. The best way to save money is to use what you already have and go into the store with a list and a plan and never go hungry. We try our best to do all 4 but usually having a list and a plan is all we have. Lol, but it has for sure saved me tons and a lot less stressed. I used to prep like crazy. Every single meal was prepped and put into the freezer. These days we just don't have the time to do HUGE prep meals days. It would take me at least two days to get it all done. OR my daughter wouldn't like it.

In my first marriage my MIL cooked the entire meal, then when I moved back home my dear mom would insist on cooking the entire meal, she was the best cook ever. I’m half Korean so my mom would add a few Korean side dishes for us (mainly for her and I). Our tradition has died with her passing two years ago. My small family has bought the pre-made meal at Lucky (turkey, gravy, stuffing, mash potatoes, stuffing with cranberry sauce) for the past two years.

Moms and MILs can be the best!!!! Especially during the holidays. I'm sorry for your loss. I have some Korean friends and they have cooked for us before and oh my goodness it's good!!!!!! Hopefully, as your family grows, you can bring back some of your mom's food. But buying food that someone else cooked is also a great tradition. :) Thank you for sharing

Good video. How cool, I never heard of an advent calendar for book lovers. Please keep us updated after Christmas if the books are a good read. When you buy 1/4 of a cow, does the seller have a storage locker you can keep the meat in, or do you have take it home?
@livinglifewithmama8292
@livinglifewithmama8292 Ай бұрын
With the advent book box, I was thinking about dipping my hand into doing KZbin shorts and seeing how I like them. The meat I have to bring it home and store it which I should have room for but I might not. Right now I have probably 50 pounds of frozen tomatoes in my upright freezer and my two freezers with my fridge waiting for me to cook down into tomato sauce and those take up a lot of space. I have never bought large amounts of meat like that. So it will be a learning experience for us. I think I am going to take you all along on that journey :) I'm not sure.

I’m not sure if you get a tax refund being a single parent, it would be helpful if you can be one month ahead. The goal is to be able to break your monthly expenses in half so that your two paychecks are more even. I was finally able to, and it’s been so helpful. Love your channel ❤
@livinglifewithmama8292
@livinglifewithmama8292 Ай бұрын
Thanks for the info. I don't think my paycheck will ever be the same where I can cut them more evenly. Using my paychecks the way I am doing them now I think is the best way for me since I just started getting paid twice a month instead of every week. I don't think I fully understand what you mean by cutting my monthly expenses in half, like my bills or what I use for gas and food? As you can see after bills I'm not left with a whole lot and if I cut those in half I am left with even less money. I am trying to be one month ahead but slowly. When I can I put money in my month-ahead funds. I do get a tax refund for being head of household and claiming my daughter on my taxes but usually that money is used for her birthday, get us through the summer and to pay off any debt that I need to pay off.
@BonnieStephens-i5u
@BonnieStephens-i5u Ай бұрын
@ The method I’m using may not be best, but I make it work. I’m a bi-weekly budgeter, the 2nd half of the month is heavier with larger bills, to make up for it I take the difference from the first half of my pay, so it’s not that painful when paying bills. This also includes my cash envelops, sinking funds and savings, everything is even. Love your channel, keep up with the good content videos. I did stay and watch the entire sinking fund video.

As a mom of 5 kids oh boy that grocery hall killed me (besides the candy for birthday) you can easily double your haul if you don’t get the prepackaged stuff 😥
@livinglifewithmama8292
@livinglifewithmama8292 8 ай бұрын
Hello, thanks for the info. I understand about getting prepackaged things but this is what works for our family and the food we eat. My daughter is gluten-free and dairy-free so we eat a lot of fresh foods. and we are about to get TONS of fresh food from our garden. This week is a bit different. The soda and the yogurt are for me because I am a full-time mom, full-time worker, and go to school full time and this is my way of spoiling myself without breaking the bank. My daughter also eats breakfast and lunch at school. I eat leftovers from the dinner before. So really this is all we need. I also am not going to buy food we don't need. So we don't need to double our food for the week because it will go bad before we can eat it. Also, the chips, chewy bars, oranges, and meat sticks are for her snacks at school. So like I said this is what works for us and if I remember correctly we actually came WAY under budget which allowed us to get things that were not food-related for my daughter. SO, in a way, I did double it just in a different way. I am only feeding two people so we don't need as much food for the week. Also, ALL of this food was eaten, the corn chips will last us a couple weeks. Also if I was a mom of 5 my hauls would look WAY different and I have also found ways to make gluten-free and dairy-free meals cheaper than what I was doing because I WAS making 3 meals a day for 7 days straight. I am only making dinner and using leftovers for my lunch so I am being smart with my money and not being wasteful. Thanks for stopping by :)

Thanks for the comment. Oh my gosh, my daughter used to eat so many. With her being gluten-free I was buying gluten-free bread every week. and that's not cheap. I used to have to figure out how to pay for the money if I went over my budget. I hate doing that. I sometimes still have to in the past I would use my credit card to buy things in bulk and then get what I needed weekly and that helped but I'm working on not using my card. I don't even take it with me anymore. so it makes me make sure I stay under budget even more. I also take a calculator and if have to pay food tax here so if it has any cent no matter if it's 3.15 or 3.99 I round up to the next whole dollar and that seems to help. thanks for the ASMR that made me laugh and I was hoping that would make someone day hearing that :) yes, I am very grateful for my friends who take her shopping they got plants for me this year for my garden. they couldn't wrap them so I already got them :)
