@BeverleyTowns Жыл бұрын
Think of cyan, yellow(lemon) & magenta as cool blue, yellow and cool red - the mixing principle is the same but you get different hues - the ones used on this demo are warm red, yellow and blue 🤗
@cooperc69420Ай бұрын
Nope it's cyan, magenta, and yellow. You can mix other colours to get blue and red.

R U using cmy or ryb. The paint text is blurry
@BeverleyTowns3 жыл бұрын
Hi Yanpeng Chang. If you look in the description there is a link to a template you can download. I was using cool primaries in this demo. The text simply labelled the wheels, primary, secondary, tertiary, quartenary. Hope this helps. 😏
@yanpengchang60243 жыл бұрын
I didn't want the template I just wanted to know if ur using cmy or ryb.
@BeverleyTowns3 жыл бұрын
The blue is cobalt. I am using cool red and cool yellow in this demo. However the principles of mixing applied in the demo work for both cool or warm The results are different particularly when mixing browns. FYI see links below. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RYB_color_model. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMY_color_model I mentioned the template as you would have hopefully clearer text. Hope this helps.

Thanks but since I'm in 8th grade class, I already painted colors in colour wheel. It is not hard since that Quartenary Color wheel has many colors like in real life colours.

thank you Larry Williams for your kind comments - it is a different ball game painting water color over a gesso'd surface as the paint does not sink into the paper - - gives the artist and opportunity to rework and also means there is a glow to the paint that is harder to achieve directly onto watercolour paper. It also means you can pull out tones rather than applying them. Thank you again for your encouraging comments - they are very much appreciated. :)

lovely works... i do have some question and i hope you could help me with them: with the indian ink do i add water to spread it. and can i use a poster card board to do a sgraffito.
@BeverleyTowns5 жыл бұрын
Hi Marie Osagiede- thank you for encouragement - with regards to the support/paper to work on - cartridge paper or poster card is fine - just ensure you use layers of crayon or pastel - you can use pastel/crayon in multiple colours for additional creative affects - the ink can be spread over straight from the bottle. If you like the resist affect you can put a little water with your ink, but it will not be so opaque if you do. Hope that helps :)
@fredrickwheeler31235 жыл бұрын
Much better setup. Try pushing the pad more into the centre. Nice work.
@BeverleyTowns5 жыл бұрын
Tricky to assess the position - i guess i'll work it out eventually - easier to set up for straight video - streaming hampers when the device filmed on is the one you have to punch the info into as well lol

Thank you Dori Muranyi Art :) These are just little water colour drawings - I have been revisiting some old sketches of our local area - I have been finding the watercolour really good for removing the temptation to overwork - and this particular work is of a very dramatic section of our seaside. I am really pleased it has resonated with you :)

@@fredrickwheeler3123 Thanks Fred - I was in a hurry with that one having found it hard to catch time in my non-contacts to do anything so simply 'went for it' - no real planning otherwise I may have been a little more careful - so I guess a little frustration in that one too - oops - sigh although it may be useful for artists who want to see what is done with the brush and palette.
