I like the idea of a bhph car lot but i dont want to deal with the repossessions and the customer gets really mad when you repo their car.

I am sure you found out 2 years ago....but those that watch this now. AWD CTS4's need their TRANSFER case oil chamged after 75K miles. You must use GM transfer oil. This cure much of the front drive clunking. Thx

I own a 2009 Cadillac CTS4 just like this but in diamond blue. The 3.6 liter DI leaks oil and it doesn't surprise me that the oil is low. Although you did not see a leak, there is a cover beneath the engine catching the leak. The exhaust tips will turn black even after you clean them. I am the one and only owner of my 2009 Cadillac CTS4 and I've seen most of the problems with this car. What type of problems? Bad body control modules. Door switches can go bad. Water intrusion during rainy season. Wiring fray can happen in trunk loom near hinge on right side resulting in center brake light failure or trunk unlock failure. Make certain to always change transmission fluid every 100,000 miles. My Cadillac CTS4 has 238,000 miles and runs smooth. I always check oil level and change on regular intervals and perhaps that is why I've not had a timing chain failure. The good thing is parts are cheap. For example, the mechanical door latch assembly used to cost $150 now cost $40 on eBay. The bad thing is GM does not Supply parts for this car anymore. Some parts can be difficult to come by like the rear view rain sensor cover panel. I am expecting the fuel pump to fail next. I do have a check engine light indicating a bad O2 sensor. I have to get that fixed.

Question, what is the reason for you to make those youtube videos? You could literally just run your business and make money. Also how do you find enough free time to make these videos while running your business? Thank you

i have a 99 Slt 5.2L. As a daily this thing is honesty my favorite. I do eventually need new front end ball joints but other than that everything else works great. Well the AC struggles to blow super cold when its 90+ out but that's understandable for an older car. It is pretty quick and handles pretty well. the front end has some paint chips and the roof is faded. I would like to throw in a better sound system tho. The engine is a little bit loud but i like that. Oil changes are kept up on it.

A floor plan sounds like a big risk to me. It’s like buying stocks on margin. You’ll loose money quick if something goes south. It’s better to start with your own money

Make the vehicle Lemon Law compliant, get it serviced and make sure tires are good. When all else fails, run it back through the auction with a starting bid that makes sense. I worked at Mannheim auto auction and a car dealership. You want to stay as honest as possible with your customers.
