Lagavulin. Somebody has good taste in single malts. My favourite.

Nicely done! Once you've filled up the wall, then it's hoarding! 😁

I really like the introspection along side the making - looking forward to the next one. When your bandsaw stopped working I wondered if it was the start capacitor. I think, over time, they can go bad and cause issues with starting/lack of torque... something to consider if the issue comes back.
@NMBWoodworks4 күн бұрын
That definitely sounds like something it's worth me keeping an eye on. Thanks for the suggestion.

Getting to the workshop to make every day feels like a tough challenge, well done you! I probably am in my workshop every day, but at least half of those days I am tidying up, reorganizing or just plan/dream of future projects

It's not hoarding if it's on display, I like that and can work with it. Great projects and nice to follow along.

Love learning wood working techniques. The water step was something I’d not known. Watching you make the spatula reminded me of watching the PBS specials with my sons of Richard (Dick) Proenneke and all the items he created by hand. If you’ve not heard of him-he built a cabin in remote Alaska in the summers of 1967 and 1968. He filmed himself doing so. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpKlqauia7-Hiqcsi=nLqQEVXi4v8P0g_I

Niall, love that I stumbled upon your channel. I just finished watching a video you might want to watch from another maker who did a year long challenge in 2024-kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6HMgZuKbbiWhposi=ID5tJ_yue7Ev21G9. Now that I’ve found your channel I’ll be going back and watch your other videos. Love these frames! Someday, I’ll get around removing the dust my power tools. A few makers you might want to check out are Adam Savage (Tested YT channel) and Evan Monsma. My FIL was amateur watch repairer, we have half dozen or so clocks about our home. Some work, some don’t-but I love them just the same.

Thanks, it's a great one as a gift. I got the marbles from a small glass artist near me but they don't usually do sales. Best bet is to do a search for handmade glass marbles, there's loads of artists out there making beautiful pieces. Thanks for watching!

Wow cool, im always hypnotized by wood working and totally was in that zone watching your video. Ehat happens when i search "how to make your own..well anything, but today,darning. Your darning here is by far much more than ill be able to make here at my work bench today with my limited tools i have...and my scrap wood but im giving it a shot. I acually started this up after sitting down with my holey socks i was about to start kinitting patches on. Though i am debating on just going onto estsy to find you and buy one of yours.
