It's an idle game, it's designed to make you wait. You don't need to have your goblins at the same level as the rocks, just set them up working on something and wait. It definitely slows down after around mine 20 so that's normal. I suggest play the events while you're waiting. Events play much faster, you'll feel like you're making better progress, and all the rewards will help you upgrade things in the main mines.

I got my little Ghost pet during a Halloween/Christmas event a few years ago but they haven't run it again since then. Now when you come across a pet in a planet you can watch an ad to get them for a short amount of time

I guess just make sure you’re backed up somewhere, they should be able to help you if something goes wrong. I’ve never had a problem going from iPhone to iPhone, but I don’t know how Android to iPhone will go. Lots of players have mentioned over the years how great the iPhone graphics are compared to Android, it’s what I’ve always had so what I’m used to. I did notice my new iPhone 16 Pro is more sensitive with swimming, when I swipe the fish go way faster across the screen, I’m trying to get used to it but all my scores are terrible at the moment 😆

(sorry in advance for the lengthy comment, just talking about my experiences as someone thats at mine 129) in my experience with these events with 40 keys. I never upgrade citrine, jade, or onyx. it might give you a slight increase in income but not enough to change anything. and at one time I did use to save my gems to get a bunch of elixirs. but if you ignore those mines, you won't have to worry about it. but if your talking about the main mine, just take your time. and the costs and profits won't be the same as events, actually there isn't any 2 events that are the same. you kind of just need to pick and choose what mineshaft you want to invest in. invest in the wrong mine or upgrade, and it might just waste your time, but thats just a learning curve. back in the early days of me getting into the game. I stopped investing any upgrades in jade and onyx, and eventually emerald. there would come a day they might be useful. but there were other things I could upgrade that would go a long way. im at the point where I can fully upgrade any new mine shafts grey cards after 1-2 mine, and soon enough im able to upgrade the green cards of any mineshaft so that they're at least automatically generating income. at the moment, im at mine 129, and even though I have quite a lot of cards that are helping male the process of going through the mine easier. elixirs are still the problem. each mineshaft that I don't focus on will cost 350 000-400 000 elixir each to fully upgrade all the grey and green cards. and even though im currently at 364.3K elixirs and would be able to upgrade an old mineshaft soon. I want to make certain that there isn't anything else I need that would help me out in the long run. right now im close to getting 4 remaining blue cards maxed out, and to me, the would take priority since they would be permanent effect for the entire game, not just any particular mineshaft. im still focusing on purple cards, but I don't care too much about if the crusher is launching bombs every 2-2.5 seconds so im not interested in that card when it gets expensive. and all the gold cards are good, but im on the game enough where I don't nee the card that expands the goblin limit by only one it would just be nearly a complete waste. although it would be a different story for me if it was something like increasing the goblin limit from 1-2 after each checkpoint. here im getting into some cheat sheet stuff because I haven't even talking about the numbers to get the best approach. as a bit of a hobby, I made myself a google sheets, and I recorded the full cost of every upgrade, how much every upgrade multiplies the profit, and I even recorded the average multiplier of how expensive the next upgrade is after its previous upgrade, depending if the mineshaft upgrades at every 10, 20, or 40. and I did it for every event too since each one is different from the other. for an example of the average multiplier, the citrine mineshaft average multiplier is 2915.01. you get roughly that number when you divide the next upgrade by its previous upgrade. and with that number, you would be able to get a rough of how much a future upgrade costs before you ever even got to that point. I collect the average number up until a mineshaft reaches 200 and then I stop there. and I also prefer recording the exact number when the time comes, the average multiplier thing just helps with what you can expect. I don't record how much profit a mineshaft makes at any upgrade because it would be just a hassle every time you upgrade the grey or green cards, any of the gold cards, or just reaching any checkpoint, the profit would end up changing either a lot or slightly every time. but the costs of upgrades, how much each upgrade multiplies the profit, and the average multipliers numbers always stay the same no matter where your at with makes everything I just said look a lot more manageable. you can also pick up some of each mineshaft patterns. for some examples, for levels or buys or whatever you want to call it, very 60 number for citrine, the profit multiplies by 333 333. or every 40 numbers for the forge it multiplies py 1000. or opal, whenever you get to an 80 interval, like 80, 180, 280, the multiplier is at its highest eventually getting up to 1024. and every upgrade beyond that will cut the profit that will multiply in half up until you get opal to its next 80 interval. I will say that the helidour mineshaft, even though it is valuable, the patterns for how much its multiplied is a big mystery to me. its as if the mineshaft has 2-3 different patterns in 1. I know what I just said was a lot. but when it came to recording the numbers, I actually ended up enjoying the game even more knowing how their systems work. so yeah, this comment is just my opinion.

@@jesse.delorey78 for the advice I just made it past mine 17 or no 16 and it's really difficult It's tough I never know what mine shafts to upgrade versus which ones to upgrade and it's confusing it really is confusing because it's it's an it's a math game like I don't I don't know how to level up my goblins to the highest level I get to the mineshaft and it says 13 or 15 or 16 and I'm barely at level six and I don't know how to get my goblins where they're stronger and where I can have more money and income to upgrade the forge so this goes to Rosie rayne as a reply too.

The great thing about Gold and Goblins is it can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. You can look at all the math and avoid upgrading certain mines to save elixir like @Jesse.delorey78 (great advice btw), or you can keep it simple and just upgrade the thing that's ready to be upgraded. I suggest at this stage don't get caught up in the math, buy goblins when you can and merge them, have your highest level goblin go straight for the next mine shaft or gate and any other lower goblins clean up the other rocks. For upgrading mine shafts, only upgrade with gold when you have a full upgrade ready, like when the grey bar is full, it's usually 10, 20 or 40 levels at a time. This will give you the big multiplier bonuses and will help you decide which shaft to upgrade next (whichever one is ready, or if there are multiple shafts you can upgrade start from the one deepest into the mine). When upgrading the cards with elixir, only upgrade the mine cards to the level of automation, don't go beyond that because you'll need the elixir to automate other shafts. Rare and legendary cards are always worth upgrading, except for a couple of exceptions mentioned by Jesse earlier, but generally I'll upgrade those cards as soon as I can. There is also a cycle to be aware of. Every 3 hours in events or 4 hours in the main mine you get better barrel rewards, a few will have ads (always worth it) and the rest will have higher amounts of gold or dynamite (you can merge dynamite too and there's a limit of 4 on screen so merge them if you have 4).
