Any tips for fishing the dam?
@Zephyr1202 Жыл бұрын
I am fairly new to fishing and my dad and me fish the Kinzua dam quite often. All I can say is people do not call it the "dead sea" for nothing lol. Look for structures on banks, fallen trees, porcupine cribs, Christmas trees etc. There is not a lot of structure in this lake and you really have to hunt for it. Also look for ledges along banks. Hope this helps and good luck on the "dead sea". 👍

The south end of the lake has the grass flats. (Your first fish?) Lots of bass hiding in there. It looks like the second bass you got was near the mouth of the canal that leads to Brick Lake. If you didn't take the canal, you missed my favorite part of the lake system. This canal is old, maybe 75' wide and lined with woods. I hooked up a few bass in the canal including one monster. It is an absolutely beautiful mile ride with birds, including a massive owl. Brick Lake has not been real productive for me, but, the canal is worth it.
