Even I call myself a music lover and I was born in 1980 in Poland, but never heard about her, by her name. But now I live in UK, and they play this song quite often and it stayed in my head for a while an I had to find out, who sang it. Thanks to KZbin and Google. She is a beautiful singer and still got it.
