Nice, I had this exact set as a lad. Wish we could have seen actual work being done on the tracks and cars and then the final result with new tires.

have you tried to use Deoxit I.E Contact cleaner on your front panel controls? Sometime dirty switches and pots can create strange anomalies in sound and separation of sound.

wish you had looked into the recording features as this has a autocal function. that can in some cases take the deck up to another level as old decks usually were considered more high end whit calibration features overall.

Tod Mcfarlane had some pritty sick toys. Like the tortured souls were rad, but the problem I ha e with Mcfarlane toys is they are not very posable . They are basically mini statues. He did do a lot of them first but Reel Toys and a few other companies do them better. He just needs to engineer his stuff to be more posable or even playable and not just stuck ii one pose.

I think the issue with the tots glove is that they didn't rivet on the leather glove correctly (in addition to your comment about the holes in the glove)

Awesome!!!great review!! I been collecting gijoe stuff on and off 4 years. I owned the space capsule as a kid but it was the Adventure team joe with the blond flocked hair that came with it. It had the capsule, figures, record and space suit. What I wanna say is I never saw this set with just the space suit. Would’ve been nice just to have another joe in suit wo buying another capsule set. I’m serious this is the first time im seeing or hearing about this set!! So thank you my friend for the heads up and review of this cool joe set. Thank you

very nice model of the wolf man . I Built the invisible man the creature from the Black Lagoon including the forgotten prisoner and the Guillotine the Honda motor Bike and the Suzuki motor Bike model kit and I'm Building the HMS Hood and I first started Building model kit's when I was kid and they were a lot more cheaper Back then for example I seen a model motorcycle kit online for £ 300 But once again child model kits were a lot more cheaper and it's a very good hobby two take up But at the same time I would be grudge two pay £300 for a construction kit and no way in a million years I would pay the much for a model it is daylight robbery

TCR has good and bad points - I was never a fan of the way they slammed into the bends, almost impossible to overtake if you made a section of long sweeping bends due to the way the system is designed... but on the plus side long before Scalextric and Carrera Digital was a thing, TCR was the only one you could effectively produce a decent overtaking manoeuvre, and slam it back into the outside lane for the next bend, also the jam car made an interesting extra element to the racing you could not get on other sets until recent times. I think it has some merits, I used to have 4 sets of TCR but sold it off back in the 90's, as I needed the money back then for a new computer, I have had various sets over the years from all sorts of different manufacturers, I started with Matchbox's Powertrack, then moved onto this, then on to other slot car systems, I think I've tried most, but TCR is definitely one of the best systems from back then, I'm still a slot car racer though and have to say I prefer the 1:32 scale due to the level of detail on Scalextric cars especially! which suits me best, different horses for different courses, but on the H0 scale TCR is one of the best at that scale.... The only thing I would say is that the Aurora, Matchbox Powertrack, AFX, and Micro Scalextric cars will work on each others systems, TCR's won't as they are slotless cars, so inherently not as many car options on TCR, but Total Control Racing with 3 cars on the track enabling true overtaking, was the best you could get until more modern digital systems came along.

Curious, if you’re going to recover such a nice seat in leather. Why not strip the rust give it a quick coat of paint to help with the longevity quality of your build?

Great video. I have an original Clodbuster I built in the late 80s that I would love to get going again. Not much is broken, but I need Steering Servo - ESC New Remote Controller and battery. Also a bearing kit and possibly new motors. Can you recommend a source for these products?

I believe I bought a fake one of these on eBay (I didn't really know this model when I bought it on impulse). Can't find any information on it, but it looks much the same except it has a different base and is made in China rather than Taiwan. The interior color is white, not purple. The wheels are smooth, not Real Riders. There are several for sale even now on eBay from multiple sellers, none of them picture the underside so I suspect they know.

Nice looking locomotive unfortunately I have no knowledge of Japanese or any foreign locomotive. I hope that doesn't sound like a racist comment, I guess I just grown up around U.S. built locomotives. Anyway I have a question and I'm hoping it's not a stupid question so here I go. When you have something as small as N-Scale cars and locomotives and you attach these tiny pieces of detail to the cars is it recommended or does it make any sense to secure the parts so they don't fall off the car by applying a tiny drop of glue to hold the piece permanently or could it do some harm to the cars? Thank you for your time Sincerely Allan
