I understand the super cars are neutered under MFG regulations + the special tires but I honestly wish MF Ghost focused on sports cars and hot hatches instead. An 86 against Golfs, non turbo Type-Rs, Focus RS, etc. would have been cool too.

2:29 i wonder how much slip angle in being played up at this point. Grip is a lot like heat condition, and torque can only work so much in the rain... If only there was more 'technical drama' on the tire choice, or technique play with the car balance..maybe the rainy overtakes would gain more enjoyment

to be fair in the Ashinoko GT round (this one) it's not really stock anymore. Sure engine's not modified but everything else (suspension, brakes, bolt-ons) has been upgraded, even the throttle controller.

@@helloScuffed in a paved dry surface with clear weather, you're right. but in an ash-laden course with thick, 0 visibility fog and all the drivers purposefully slowing down for safety? that's a perfect opportunity for someone with skills and photographic memory to attack. then again it's a cartoon so no point in trying to argue.

@@impreza0109 My goal is not to argue, I'm just disappointed with the manga and anime. Photographic memory won't help in the rain and with the water running down the track, Kanata memorized all the raindrops that fell last time, or what? How is photographic memory supposed to help him when on a wet track you don't drive the same way you do when it's dry, not to mention sliding around corners and other silly stuff. Initial D was an anime/manga that appealed to people interested in cars like hardly any other, unfortunately MF Ghost is not made with us in mind.

Doesn't matter because the rain puts everyone in the condition which handicaps the cars. In this conditions it's about the driver making the difference rather than the car.

@phenom57714 so I'm not chasing MFG anymore... 1) MFG is not so interested comparing to Initial D... 2) the story plot sequences were terrible... Why 3 seasons...? Supposed just 1 season... 3) the whole story focused on Kanata... Other drivers got no skills at all... Nothing special bout other drivers... Just Kanata... This Kanata... That Kanata... Another Kanata...
