Sony needs to make a movie about the whole production history of this show because it’s truly fascinating how batshit and cursed it was. Would be a million times more interesting and entertaining than garbage like Venom, Morbius, Kraven and Madame Web.

That's the tradedy pages performance as the goblin is Tony worthy and the costumes are really cool but the stupid aspirations of upping the stunts ruined this show for ever 😢

This could have worked as a sung-through musical or just a play without songs. I kept getting upset that the flow of the plot literally stops for musical numbers that dont drive the story forward. The songs are a lot of empty nothing.

Glad I found this! I'd heard all the versions and remember one being distinctly better than the otheres. Natalie Mendoza's deepier, edgier take on it is far superior to the almost disney princess like voice used by the others (they're in no way bad singers, just that's not the voice for this song)
