Dude, you've got to throw out those Roland V-Drums. They're like playing on tennis rackets that don't have consistent response. Get yourself some Yamaha DTX drums. You won't regret it. Way better. I've owned both and would never go bak to those Roland V-Drums. They might be okay with real drum heads, but then you lose the silence of e drums.
