Why isn’t it in the incubator in a humid environment? I would hate it to get shrink wrapped from the dry air. Did you have to assist it? I’m thinking so. Hope Darcy is ok.

Nope. The sound is louder this way from the sound waves hitting the ground and the underside of the suv. Plus shorter pipes means less of that nasty clapping exhaust sound

How long did it take to get out ?? I have 5 in atm and I have days left now

They were all different. Once they were very close I did a safety pin hole. There are a lot of videos on that. For most cases, it’s best to leave them alone as much as possible, even though I know it’s hard. Took about a day on average for them to completely get out of the shell.

@@dalcoulter7381 Good luck! We had 7 and only 4 made it. The humidity is important to keep the shell soft too. Hope all goes well for you. Let us know how it goes.

@@MikeHulsman definitely. I put 6 in 5 have something in it so looking good. But now I know about the hole I'll keep a closer eye on them

@@dalcoulter7381 Awesome. Be careful about using the pinhole, as a last resort. Do you research, as once there’s an air hole it will dry out inside the egg. And that can actually suffocate them. Only do that after they have internally pipped. Most people will tell you not to interfere at all, and just let nature take it’s course. Only sharing but I have experienced, not a true professional here. : )
