I'm using Debian and GMX (instead of Gmail). Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Briefly: 1) I've created the 'genericstable' file and run 'makemap hash' to create the 'genericstable.db' file. 2) Included the line bellow in the file 'sendmail.mc': FEATURE(`genericstable',`hash -o /etc/mail/authinfo/genericstable.db')dnl 3) Run 'make' and restart sendmail. 4) When trying to send a test email, I still get the error: My unqualified host name (localhost) unknown; sleeping for retry unable to qualify my own domain name (localhost) -- using short name

Hi! Thanks for the video! It is very useful. For those who obtain a similar error as it was on the video (3:48): please read the terminal output carefully. In my case, it suggested me to "sudo apt --fix-broken install". I followed the suggestion and everything was installed correctly. I also recommend to check "Software and Updates" -> "Other software" for any nvidia related sources. If there are, remove them.

Worked great, but deleted the etc/environment file in the process by accident. If I use exactly the same line written in your file, I will not find any other troubles right? What is the /etc/environment file used for anyway? is it important? what happens if I deleted it??

Sin embargo me mandó un error al momento de querer enviar un correo, fué éste: sendmail AUTH=client, available mechanisms do not fulfil Afortunadamente también se resuelve fácilmente, lo único que tienes que hacer es instalar los paquetes "cyrus-sasl" con: yum install cyrus-sasl* Luego sólo reinicias los servicios sendmail y saslauthd: systemctl restart sendmail systemctl restart saslauthd Y listo, funcionará de maravilla, espero les sirva éste tip, saludos!

Thank you so much. This worked on Ubuntu 20.04. I was having trouble with the .deb one cause it would overwrite the already installed 470 driver on my machine and end up having some errors. I was able to install the cuda toolkit properly following your video. Keep it up mate!
