This isn’t working. My rudder still won’t turn properly. Made sure the new cable has no slack in the back when rudder is centered before tightening. I don’t remember which position the handle was sitting in when i took it off because I didn’t know that was important. However, i tried repeating this process in about 20 different positions and still the same issue.
@TheBassquatchHunterАй бұрын
Hey there! You may be routing the cables incorrectly around the handle. I have done that quite a bit too. It is so simple that it is easy to make little mistakes when replacing. Make sure the cables are around the internal handle the same way they were. Shoot me a message on Facebook and I can send pics if you need.

@TheBassquatchHunter2 ай бұрын
I did not have it on the kayak for this video. This kayak model is a pedal drive. That means that I don’t have to use a paddle, but can use my legs to pedal while fishing. My paddle is only used if I am launching in shallow water or if I am going through an area that I can not use pedals. 😊

Hey Mike! Did you ever do a review of the Lure? I’m looking for one now but don’t know whether the 11.5 or 13.5 would be better. Thanks!
@TheBassquatchHunter5 ай бұрын
I have had both. It comes down to your height, weight, how you travel with the kayak, how you store the kayak and what waters you fish mainly. Then lastly which one would fit your needs the best. I love the 11.5 but if I was a bigger guy, I’d go 13.5. But it’s big and bulky compared to the 11.5 so hauling it is different. The 11.5 turns easier and is more manageable too but the 13.5 have much more room.

Not a fan of the transducer arm battery box combo. It’s really convenient and easy but I don’t like having that big bulky unit on the side rail. I made a mount for my transducer and run it through one of the scupper holes and have the battery in a waterproof box under the seat. I have the head unit just immediately in front of my seat with the cables tucked neatly into the FeelFree utility track. Transducer is in the hull and deep enough in the water but the design of the hull protects it from damage.
@TheBassquatchHunter5 ай бұрын
That sounds cool! I love that everyone finds their own way that works for them with kayak rigging:) I personally love the cellblock because I can remove the whole system and place it on another kayak in about 30 seconds while on the water. @TheBassquatchHunter6 ай бұрын
Seat is amazing! Cushion is on the back for a reason. I wear an inflatable PFD sometimes and other times I wear an NRS chinook PFD. The chinook has a back flotation piece and since I am short, the cushion helps my lower back since the PFD is on my upper back only. Also, what’s wrong with being more comfortable when I spend 12 hours or more in my seat very often? 😂
