Homeless and crime is still growing smh. Especially at night in the subways and streets. I swear every night when I’m taking the subway, some bums come in the train cart I’m sitting in and start screaming, lecturing, rapping, or even smoking or whatever in a train cart full of people trying to go by their night. Even on stops I hear people shouting and screaming on the stations. And a lot of junkies go about harassing people for money. I gave this junkie woman a footlong subway sandwich and a water bottle after she asked me for money while I was waiting for my train. She asked me and everyone there for money or whatever we can spare. No one was giving her anything and I gave her my food since I had no money on me and just felt bad seeing her begging everyone. I swear she then walked over a garbage can and threw my sandwich and water bottle away. I wanted to glare at her. But there was no point getting mad at an obvious lost cause. The more I try to leave this place, the deeper it sucks me in.

I lived in Pasadena 9 years with 3 of those living a couple of blocks from Old Town. I have moved out of state about 8 years ago. For a while there, it was drawing alot of the rambuncuous crowd but it looks like it is a bit tame now. Hopefully it stays busy but tame.

I worked there in the late 1970's as a manager for Sak's Fifth Avenue. There was only one level back then. It is still one of the most beautiful shopping centers in the world. Across the street was the former Sheraton Bal Harbour, and the ancient Singapore Hotel, which is now the St. Regis residencies. I now reside in Puerto Vallarta, MX.

I know Hoi An is beautiful but every time watching it, it's just reaffirm that I forget about how nice it is. Thank you for the walk. Started out they wanted to sell ticket to every person enters the old town, people detested this idea, so many debates, and they scaled down to just charging the entering of historical sites to maintain these places, since Hoi An get flood every other years. Last time you got in free by luck LOL, just like when I was at Disneyland years ago, ten of thousands waited like an hour under the sun, because they need to metal detect scanning every person, in the end they just opened additional lines for the crowd to swarm in freely. Not safe at all for Disney size and especially in LA.

Fun yet creepy. When you're walking among the deserted attractions, I get the vibe of a real world version of "Foul Play at Funland," the old Scooby Doo episode. "Foul Play at Frost Fest?" Even the spooky thumbnail looks like it could have come from the episode. And actually, according to their Facebook page, it was closed on December 17 "due to weather and related safety conditions." Your loss. Our gain. Thanks for the video. I'd love to walk through Coney Island at night, but I'm too chicken to do it. We older generation NYers just can't shake the fears instilled by the '70s and '80s.

We native El Pasoans seldom go to downtown El Paso unless there is a special event going on. El Paso moved to the Eastside. Great childhood memories that I have with my mom going shopping to downtown El Paso when we had no shopping malls, so funny 😁 and fun we'd catch the bus. Hope some of you remember Kress, Woolworth, thats all I can recall for now. Bye.

So Action kid? Are you now living in the Boston area? Or was the series of Boston area videos based on a visit there in the recent years? I'm a native born New Yorker from the Bronx and also lived a few years in the early 80s there. Particularly? Up in Salem . Anyway enjoyed the video. There's a funny story about the Charley card based off an old comedy song made decades ago. See if you can find it? And listen to it? Anyway. Also I personally think ? Looking back to my days on both city's subway train systems in both N.Y.C. & Boston ? I think the MBTA "T" system is a bit cleaner and doesn't have the crime related stuff people are in some cases going to see in the Big Apple. Anyway thanks again.👋🥸
