Yes, we have 3 ski centers located on different glaciers, which open around the middle of May. One of the three centers usually closes in June/July, and one of the others often closes in July/August. The latter is usually up until late autumn or winter arrives. They are not open in winter due to massive snowfall and impossible weather conditions to keep the lifts operating and roads open. It's not the biggest ski lifts, but it's an absolutely fantastic feeling to ski in the summer in 10-15 degrees Celsius. Occasionally there is even shorts weather. And a little further down in the valley next to the glacier is summer and swimming weather in the fjords. Unfortunately, global warming is a problem for the glaciers, so in the future it may not be possible to do summer skiing here either!? 😞

@@chillwalk. Yes, unfortunately. Summers are getting longer and warmer and winters warmer and shorter, every ski enthusiast's nightmare. I don't think humans will be able to fix this, probably have to have the help of a trick or two from mother earth herself. Perhaps a supervolcano eruption that ashes the atmosphere and shields it from heat from the sun. Or changes in ocean currents perhaps?

I agree, however this is a test video of the led bar so I switch between high and low beam several times to see the difference in the light. I also think it completely depends on how much it snows and how big snow crystals (wet or dry snow) that determine how much light you can use for best visibility :)

Im very experienced driver with 30 years of driving and 40 000 km each year. Lives in Norway. U have partly correct. It depends very on what kind of snowing it is. I allways check what is best when i drive. Sometimes i can use high beams and sometimes not. And u r correct, if u put high beam at heavy snowing, u only get a wall of white in front of u.
