I'm Irish and yes obviously I'm white. What's wrong is the narrative that all whites are colonizers. Some were colonized themselves and had to deal with legal and social discrimination that would be categorically illegal today.

Ulster Scots were not Irish rather the descendants of British colonists who settled on land taken from the native Irish in Ulster and who then later emigrated to the Americas to do the same to the people there.

The main ones who push the indentured servitude narrative are the same who rounded up and transported 10s of 1000s of Irish men women and children against their will to the early English colonies where they were worked to death. Not everyone was legally indentured. Certainly not the Irish under English rule. The same who brutally invaded, colonised and ethnically cleansed Ireland in the 1500 and 1600s.
