Saturn games always have such a grainy ruff look next to ps games. Makes me give up.

As a youngster i put an ungodly amount of hours into Wing Arms. it was doing things back then that were blowing my mind.

I didn't know or completely forgot Saturn had a port.

Kinda of a shame Framemeister doenst handle resoluiton switching well, but it is still an amazing scaler. If you feel like you need a new scaler for these occasions, you might wanna look into the GBS- Control. It's a pretty affordable scaler that has motion adaptive de-interlace, and handles the interlace resolution switching much better.

The music in Battle Monsters sounds like an AMIGA mod-file.

a saturn port of virtua fighter 3 should have happened so that dreamcast could have ports of virtua fighter 4 and virtua fighter 5. the team battle thing should have been reserved for later entries in the franchise. also there should have been saturn ports of scud race, waverunner, indy 500, wing war, outrunners, spikeout, behind enemy lines, gunblade NY, fighting wu shu, racing jam, mortal kombat 4, virtua striker, metal slugs 2 and 3; king of fighters 2000 or 01; and motor raid.

i can see a bigger sprite for the hero on saturn side. The ps1 version seems faster in both loading and movement. we can see some differences on the light with dark room on PS1 while they are not on Saturn, the yellow light is not as good as other lightning effect. Animation slow down when there are gunfire on saturn. Otherwise pretty much the same game. Maybe PS1 is superior but i will give it to the Saturn for the noticeable effort on transparency and light.

How could Probe screw up Mortal Kombat 2? They did an abysmal job with the Saturn port. Bad music and missing voice samples really ruined this game for me. The 32X version looked much better and had better music and more voice samples and that was on a ill-fated 32-bit add-on.

I have the japanese version of Mortal Kombat II, it stutters as well, and it does have the same Easter Egg. Then I tried it on the Saroo, and its super smooth. F1 Challenge was released in Japan as F1 Live Information. The whole appeal of the game was the Live commentary. Since they took it out on localization, game just got even more generic.
