I listen to this podcast on Spotify often, particularly at night when I'm trying to get to sleep. Not because I find it interesting (it really isn't ) but because GM is so boring. He talks incessantly about minutiae. The story about going back to the van, and then coming back and then going back again (Dear God). And then combined with his continuous misuse of the word "like" and also his interminable usage of "sort of like" which in his case became "saw of like". How is he a coach?. Anyway, it does send me to sleep, so I'll probably continue to use it.

Really enjoyed this podcast I totally get his style of angling. I'm much the same these days i just go fishing for myself. If you see this comment Elmo all the to you mate. Regards Daytime Nick.

This guys got some serious insecurities. Mate it’s just carp fishing cast ya rods out and catch a carp how you want. Dont worry about what people think. I’ve never heard anyone more concerned about what people think of them over trying to catch a carp. I’m actually shocked someone would be like this about carp angling.
@CymruCelt014 ай бұрын
No one’s perfect, mate. Everyone has their insecurities. I know people who are university graduates and are highly skilled, confident around people, but are utterly terrified by social media. End of the day, mate, who are you to judge anyone? Fishing is fishing, rock climbing is rock climbing, or whatever the activity might be. But actually putting those activities on show on social media just doesn’t appeal to everyone.
@craykooo89474 ай бұрын
It’s just fishing. I Understand being self conscious around your boss at work or in front of your friends or family maybe but down a carp lake who cares. That’s where you should go to relax and forget that shit. Typical of today’s youth though too busy worrying about what they look like or how they come across than enjoying the moment.
@CymruCelt014 ай бұрын
@@craykooo8947you’ve completely missed the point I made. This lad is doing what older anglers have been doing, just going fishing to relax. The only thing he’s avoiding is social media. That’s all he’s saying.

Not everyone stays at the same lake there whole life fishing for the same carp. Keyboard bashing. Everyone gets that feeling showing up to new lakes especially hard ones. So I would suggest find something challenging not just a club water with 1000 carp in it

Hassan love your pod casts, why on earth did you have to get involved with capital carp comps. It’s what wrong with everything in fishing, praying on people’s will to gamble, often what they can not afford 🥲🥲🥲

I'm a huge fan of JT but such a shame he's now so willing to divulge areas and spots. Local anglers and respectful anglers who fish public waters will be disappointed with this.
@richcurtis8134 ай бұрын
He's not named his last venue. And I should know, as I put him on there. He's not even told the Nash boys.
@10-YearPlan4 ай бұрын
@richcurtis813 There are plenty of other anglers who have had things ruined by the obvious venue bombing here. I hate to say it, but he will sell you out too in time! Enjoy your sport until then. Tight lines.
