gotta be honest, the ending really took me by surprise, and it really changes my views on the franchise the fact that sam now fights crime with past max instead of present max because his max is dead, although, this does make me raise a question, if theres ever a sam and max game after today, will there be a time when sam has to confront the fact that the max hes with isnt the real max and instead a past version? only one way to find out

I suppose the last of TellTales trilogy was nice, but imo the overly dark direction was a tad strong, almost reeked of when they kill off a character on a tv show because the actor was a d-bag. THAT SAID, it was a great bit of story writing. Also in the end I found myself hating two characters for different reasons: "Girl Stinky" and Sybil.
