Why not use wood glue in addition to screws?

these are a nightmare. they make it look easy but nothing goes together the way it is suppose to. they tell you and use this video to show you it is easy and it should be but the parts are made incorrectly, literally the top drawer was on the bottom. And they expect you to wait on your project for weeks. Do not buy these!!

Thank God for videos because their paper instructions are absolutely worthless. I was putting these cabinets in in a cabin with no Wi-Fi and we gave up. Got home and watch this video. Very disappointed in my purchase for this reason. Also, I had to watch the part about extending the hinges about 40 times and still couldn't figure out what the hell she did. No one values documentation these days! Again, very disappointed in my purchase.

These cabinets are so cheap and will last maybe 2 years before collapsing. Buyer beware.

The video is a bit informative as the paper instructions aren’t that great. However, things have changed since this video. Also, the shakiness of the camera almost makes it on watchable.

I started assembling my cabinets yesterday. This video is helpful. But be aware there have been changes that cabinets to go should correct in their video, ARE YOU LISTENING CABINETS TO GO? The drawer fronts attach a little differently. The screws that attach the drawer fronts are now hidden by the dovetails, so you need to attach the drawer fronts FIRST, This has been corrected in the instructions. The drawer glides are no longer attached to the cabinet backs with a plastic bracket, it is now metal. No instructions about this change except an illustration. When I called their support number the "technician" had not a clue. Asked me to send him pictures so he would know what I was talking about. I finally found a KZbin video of the new drawer slides and sent it to him. Hopefully he will educate himself The cabinets are very good quality and in my case at 72 years old and working alone the best alternative to be able to carry the individual pieces in to assemble. I am a retired cabinet installer and YES use wood glue! Make sure you fit everything thoroughly. The new adhesives are amazing and you don't want to screw up.

Building my first bc18 cabinet right now and I'm just going to say that half of the screws being used are missing from package. Not ideal at all. Can't even finish the first cabinet

The cabinet went together fine… glue is optional but the dovetails were tight. The paper directions are fair at best The step the video and written instructions do not address is installing drawer rail holders on the bottom front of the drawers. They don’t magically snap in like shown on the video

I will never buy from Cabinets To Go again. If the panels are defective because of the CAM locks, they only offer to replace the CAM lock and not the entire panel. I never purchased CAM locks from this company so why not replace the entire panel? Way too much work and effort to get this right. Don’t waste your time with this poorly constructed crap!! Also, most of the panels are compressed wood which is so fragile while handling that it chops and cracks easily!

Definitely use glue. Drawer fell apart. Incorrect screws to boot. Pilot holes don't line up with drawer bottom.

Your demo is flawed. The camera cannot see the XPR very well as the color sample you chose does not show the surface very well. You need to do this test with the same or very similar color and shine from both samples, or move the camera to show more angles.

You actually got instructions, my cabinets made in Texas did not include instructions or a site to go to and they are different from the utube directions in a couple of area's.

Have my cabinets coming in 2 weeks. This video and others are very helpful. Bought 2 large moving blankets from Harbor Freight to assemble them on. It is a small price to pay to protect a much larger investment.

First off why did they stop sticker labeling the dang pieces, I see in the video hers are labeled. Second off how are we supposed to interpret this from those crappy paper directions. Lastly, my front facing frame has a giant crack in the front but my cabinets need installed this week.

In some versions of this, you must attach the face of the drawer to the front of the drawer box *before* you use the mallet to attach the sides. Once in place, the sides will hide the pre-drilled screw holes used to attach the face to the front of the drawer box.

cabinets are built very poorly. nothing aligns properly. screws missing, contacted twice for replacements, both times incorrectly milled.

What about the front piece has a hole and when you attached the inside hole is covered WHY?
