Pretty solid line up. Would have liked to see Heta in there instead of Dobey or Asp. Shame thay De Decker didnt do a bit more in the worlds. I think he would have been a great fit for the "underdog" storylines.

Tbf to the Asp I think the injury meant that maybe he couldn’t achieve what he could’ve done so maybe that has helped him plus he has finished just outside of the playoffs two years in a row.

Top 4 is the top 4 nothing wrong with that but cross definitely fortunate to get that final automatic spot. De decker walk on also gets crowd singing too yes I understand he’s been knocked out early at worlds but you put aspinall in for winning matchplay after he did nothing after that doubles standards for me btw aspinall did deserve to be in at that time as it’s big major but I’m exposing the hypocrisy. Tbh I was struggling about the 8th player tbf, I had Chisnall due to top of pro tour order of merit despite doing nothing in majors I wouldn’t been against Heta someone different. I would’ve liked return of contenders idea for that 8th player contender playing each week I disagree with u on Dobey he’s more worthy than aspinall. I know your picks are because that's what you want but you have to take out Wright because of poor performance and Dobey is undecided whether he should be in because he is lower down the rankings. Heta is due to being world number 8 and an international player, great walk-ons, and the crowds do like him

If this is today about Menzies dad then I take some of my comments back People won’t like that if this is today comment from me but I do find it a huge coincidence straight after his game he posts that tweet My issue is he was completely fine for whole game apart from the final leg where he did break down in tears. I don’t like people saying Menzies only been like this for 1 game in terms of his focus & composure he’s been lacking that since he’s joined darts If this is today & somethings happened then I’ll apologise for some of my opinions I won’t apologise for all comments the ones I won’t apologise for is he don’t have the focus & composure to do anything in the sport and I really hope he don’t blame the crowd either cause end of the day u should focus on dartboard yes can be hard but need to have the mental strength best players have been booed & won tournaments for example Gerwyn price I’m not saying he be at that level but unfortunately u have to get on with it. Look I think something should be done with the crowd putting players off but we’ve said this for decades nothings changed & again unfortunately alcohol creates the darts atmosphere they are the facts & the facts hurt. Final did what it said on the tin Humphries saved his best performance this tournament for the final to make it 2-1 against littler in their major finals against each other A real shame they won’t meet in the world final due to their seeds & ranking there set to meet in semi finals if all goes to plan but just never know with darts these days 😅 This is a well respected rivalry that could go on for years & decades just like Taylor v Van Barneveld real joy to watch 2 of the best players in the world especially on form & it’s pretty much gonna be littler or Humphries for the worlds if going by form. Incredible journey & careers for both of these players so I was right in the end about littler won’t manage to play 3 days in a row playing 1 on Friday playing twice yesterday & 3 times today but he almost did it but I give anyone credit for winning tournaments like this gruelling playing 3 days in row especially multiple games too. Bring on the world championships that’s the only thing about Christmas to me 😍

200/1 at start of the tournament the mighty underdog pulls off 1 of the greatest tournament victories especially with players he’s beaten Damon Heta (always a outsider for every tournament), Gary Anderson (multiple major winner), James Wade (a lover of this tournament again major winner), dimitri Van den bergh (uk open & world matchplay champion), Luke Humphries (number 1, defending champion & best player in the world) De decker was 4-1 up in the final & when we saw Humphries get one back we all thought 6-4 Humphries straight away but man de decker really deserves to win this the man had bottle didn’t crumble at all even when was pulled back to 4-4 he stuck in & went toe to toe. Shoutout to Humphries a true sports model classy in defeat lot of sportsmanship during the game which we what we love about darts & nothing changed about Humphries still best player in the world at this current time. Mike De Decker is no longer a underdog now I even said when it was 4-4 even if Humphries won de decker shown he’s top player had bottle & now it’s even better he’s major winner absolutely incredible story & incredible final. Darts is a sport & one of the greatest sports in the world Mike de decker the night belongs to u 👏🏻 Again not me disrespecting Phil Taylor but this is the best darts has been in terms of depth of players anyone can beat anyone & anyone can win their first major trophy
